If we parse every word of every witness without putting those words into their proper context, we can lose the truth in the weeds. Reminder that the Canton PD also did not find a single piece of bright red taillight when searching the scene at around 8 am with a blower. There was no taillight on the site until Proctor got his hands on the SUV.

So Hank Brennan knew that there were holes in the back of JO'K sweater, but didn't know that the cause of them was the CW's own criminalist? And then questioned DR Wolfe in good faith asking if they could have been caused by the incident on 1-29-2022?

What I'd like to know - whose idea was to put the sweatshirt in plexi glass to begin with ? Seems like a terrible idea to bring it into court like that .
Was that part of Brennan's planning on this - the holes look different under the glass ?
I hate to think that those two exhibits were not put in evidence early on bc Hank thought maybe those sweatshirt holes were going to come in handy along the line - seems nuts to me.
But this whole second trial is nuts. CW has no evidence.
I heard one lawyer opine a while ago when someone said there was no evidence, that a lot of case's go to trial and get guilty verdicts on a lot less evidence.
Maybe we need to start televising all the trials - because justice is not looking so just

Lucky with the really good lights hit a basketball hoop and totally didn't see a huge dumpster on the front lawn across the street. Not a very good witness. No one else leaving had any need to stop and look around when running/quickly walking to get out of the storm and into their cars. The people that pulled up to pick someone up and then drove by couldn't see past the Lexus to the area JO was found. The dome light was on so it's possible JO was right outside the passenger side, also couldn't be seen by the other car passing. Sgt Barros conceded he didn't under the snow and ID'd a CW image as looking like what he saw. Where's the evidence that Proctor got his hands on the shards and planted them and if that's what they still think, why wouldn't they call him? AJMO

The evidence is the failure of initial two searches to find any shards, despite the snow blowers.

The people in the Nagle's car was parked behind KR's car, I'm incredulous that they would not see someone with the side door open.

You and I heard very different testimony then. Barros conceded that what he saw matched the image the CW showed him under cross, did he not? He also admitted the snow could have obstructed his view, didn't he?

But I SAW the video from Dighton that showed the taillight mostly intact. I believe my own eyes. Barros’ testimony just corroborated what I saw. Brennan never mentions when/where the photo he showed Barros was taken. Barros seemed confused when he was looking at the picture,he even asked where it was taken. He said it wasn’t from the Read’s home. When her vehicle was loaded onto the tow truck, its right rear taillight was mostly intact.

The low accuracy information was used by Burgess and Welcher, no one other than Whiffen testified about the cell location data.

You are right, it doesn't sound great. IMO also

No way around it, Officer Barros said what he saw, the dollar size in length of a side piece missing. ABSOLUTELY NOT was his response when shown the one that was broken out, along with denting the metal framing once it reached the hands of those in the CANTON SALLYPORT. He has no reason to be a sleazy and shown to be corrupt officer of the law as proctor was and fired from the STATE POLICE as lead investigator, along with bff's with parties in the house that night. Brennan showed today and was shut down lieing and thinking he would get away with it with the 'holes' in JOK's shirt. The pix B showed Barros is the same, sleaze at work and smoke and mirrors. IMO

The CW wants the jury to fill in the gaps, it should never be that way. IMO
