Yet, another lie. Hard to keep count.I just listened to this, she said she never said it couldn't be caused by glass.

If they saved it (a possibility) they badly miscalculated & also allowed their witness to be embarrassed. From the flustered way the application to dismiss was made, faffing around with the docs etc. I think they just missed it.I looked into it further as well and think it is also odd that AJ did not immediately object for the record and attempt to raise on a redirect? That would have hit hardest with the jury as far as Brennan's credibility goes. Seems a missed opportunity.
As you say, either they were fast asleep, or somehow thought saving it for Alessi's mistrial application was a better move? Brennan got lucky there.
Strange moment in the case for sure.

Which we need to keep separate from Matt McCabe....Michael Morrissey, the NORFOLK COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY. WELL connected with the judge and the house party people. FBI investigation on his office, he is well aware for a while. IMO
Every juror in the courtroom knows The Honorable Judge Cannone is acting in a biased fashion.Boy it is tough to watch this judge NOT let the defense present their case. A commentator made the point that it is getting serious in that the jury will want to blame someone for the delays, excessive sidebars and the feeling in general that they are not getting the full story. Who do they blame? The judge? The CW? or possibly the Defense? It is now a real concern. Judge Bev huffs and puffs and stops court again early today and says the are "winding down" with implication that defense is taking too long. I thought it was certain there would be rebuttal and defense still has more witnesses? How can the jury have the case by Friday?
I also feel like if the jury feels that the delays, tactics, etc. are excessive and making the trial so much longer that they would blame the prosecution as it seems to me that they take longer with every witness and HB asks the same question in different forms at least 5 times each hoping to get a different answer. I think the defense has been way more productive in less time. I also think the prosecutor has had way more objections, side bars, etc. This is AMO but feel like delays would be the prosecutor's fault. However, either way, the jury's job is to render a verdict based on the evidence and it would be unfair to both sides if they allowed their feelings for the process to determine how they vote. IMO!Every juror in the courtroom knows The Honorable Judge Cannone is acting in a biased fashion.
She also does not care that the jurors are aware of her bias. It's power flex. And it's appalling.
unfair but I think it can impact their deliberations. This is a long trial with many witnesses ...many long ago. Not going to be easy to review all of the evidence. I don't think this will be super fast unless they are all 100% on board from the start.I also feel like if the jury feels that the delays, tactics, etc. are excessive and making the trial so much longer that they would blame the prosecution as it seems to me that they take longer with every witness and HB asks the same question in different forms at least 5 times each hoping to get a different answer. I am lost because I missed a couple of hours of today’s trial. What fire?Huge waste of important time. That was an awful thing, that time, that fire. So many people trapped inside and a long time to remove and of course needing dental records if able to obtain.. awful job. A guy in my neighborhood at the time was killed in there, only son and single older mother. Terrible. I expected her reasons for leaving that position as she did was just as said by the defense. Filled with integrity she is along with incredible experience and credentials. Knows her stuff and that is that. IMO
This is the first trial I have ever followed to this extent. I just can't believe what I am seeing. I didn't know changes can be made as the trial goes. Shouldn't all of this be decided before trial begins? Also, I have never seen the experts get challenged as we are seeing here. So the defense experts are not "experts" enough but the CW's was??? One guy didn't even have a degree that he stated he had. There are sooooo many things that an appeal is inevitable.
I'm not sure if it's the commentary on the jury or the jurors' reactions but there is something unsettling about these type of posts..
Brennan tried to discredit Dr. Laposata’s work as the medical examiner in the Station Nightclub Fire but it blew up in his face. He was so excited during the Voir Dire but she took the wind right out of his sails.I am lost because I missed a couple of hours of today’s trial. What fire?
I just watched it 2x, she did not change her testimony at all. Brennan lied, and then she corrected him. Moo
I have no faith in Cellebrite data. I have worked with network packet analysis tools (eg SnifferPro). The oddity is still in the data, he just chose to remove it. His software does no real analysis, he is just scrapping data and guessing what it means. Wiffin sells his product to police forces, he has a financial interest to tweak the output.,It is an interesting admission that the foundational plank to the Jen conspiracy has collapsed. I actually don't know why Judge Cannone allowed the "Hos long" search to be discussed at this trial at all. It should have been removed via motion in limine pre-trial as it's 100% clear and testified to be Cellebrite, that no such search took place at 2.27am
Now the jury has heard confusing stuff from AJ in opening, and debunked by Ian Whiffin, that the defence cannot stand up. No doubt AJ will continue to claim it in closing.

I thought he asked her to assume John was alive for 1-2 hours, losing heat at a slower rate, before dying.Just listening to the questioning from Brennan about the body temp... one of his questions was... paraphrasing.. so it would take a little over 4 hours for a dead body to get to the temperature if outside?
Normal body temp - 98.6
JOK's temp at 6:37am - 80
a little over 4 hours earlier then 6:37am is what time?
2:37am is 4 hours... a little more time then that would be right around the time some butts were dialing.
AND that came FROM Brennan. I did catch the little over 4 hours thing earlier, but listened on regular speed this time around. It stuck out to me.
at about 5:25:30 of todays feed
Back of head Injury caused immediate death but face, arm and tongue may have happened before that and allowed the bleedingIf I understand what Dr. Laposata is saying... he died immediately. So where did the blood and vomit come from?
ETA: She is saying immediate unconciousness ... swelling.. then death...
Immediate incapacitated, maybe seizure activity (@AngTxGal I know you mentioned that ) ... and within 10-15 minutes, death.
I thought he asked her to assume John was alive for 1-2 hours, losing heat at a slower rate, before dying.
And he thinks he is a doctor and medical examiner as well as a lawyerIf HB had listened to her, she said with that head injury he would be deceased within 15 minutes or so, so no way he was lying on a cold lawn in the snow for 1-2 hours before he died. HB just keeps trying to confuse witnesses with unfounded theories and thinks he's 'proving' something.
