No kidding; yesterday when Brennen was going through what he wanted disallowed from Dr. Rentschler's power point, saying 'I can live with this', 'this shouldn't be allowed'... and JBC just agreeing with the lot of it. I was raised in a military family. I missed my father very much growing up. Although I value my military brat life, it caused me to make a point to be at as many remarkable events in the lives of my family members as possible. However, I do travel a good bit for my career. No, I’m not testifying at a trial where a person’s freedom is at stake, but in my business travels, my work contributes to the success of a company that employs hundreds of people. I consider that important and take my duties seriously. I have been away for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, award ceremonies for children’s accomplishments. I NEVER missed an opportunity to take the time to call or celebrate on my loved one’s special days. I even paused a business meeting for 5 minutes to witness an event via FaceTime while traveling. The folks I was visiting were very gracious and I did not take more time than needed. If I were away on my child’s special event and knew I would be televised, I ABSOLUTELY would take a brief moment for a shoutout. This witness took very little time, was not disruptive, and if the court is that stuffy, we’ve lost our way as a people. My opinion
