I love that he keeps asking about the details of the car and why she wasn't asking about the details and she responds that "he wasn't hit by the car so it's not important!!!" LOL!!!

Just a few times and he was very dissapointed the last time and would not hire her again is what I heard
JMO
She probably wouldn’t sell to the highest bidder and say whatever Brennen wanted her to say. So now he doesn’t like her. 😂

The Judge allowed AJ and Alessi to conduct marathon cross examinations of Jen McCabe, Shanon Burgess and Yuri Bukhenik that went on for days in total. Never once has she denied them time. IIRC Brennans cross of star witness Dr Wolfe was around 2 hours in comparison.

MOO
None of those witnesses would answer questions directly.. Moo

Speaks volumes that the Commonwealth wasn't able to find someone with significant prosecution experience to take on this hot mess. I'll bet they tried but couldn't find a competent, qualified attorney to do their bidding.
I believe this is the issue they ran into looking for experts as well. They eventually had to offer up literally hundreds of thousands to an “expert” to play with paint.

She actually said that??

Plus Yuri had to make his dramatic acting debut with those texts.
That took some time.
IMO.

Hank's bringing in her "controversies" sure didn't work out. She is just amazing at dealing with him!
She probably had him sussed long ago and prepped herself for this, surmising that he might go there. What a relief she has his number. I love this Dr.

Welp, this has backfired spectacularly on Brennan!!!
Now back to some of the same questions brennan already addressed. Hope the judge is enjoying brennan extending the time the trial lasts. JMOO

I love that Hank is so focused on reasonable doubt that he might have possibly been on an off-chance actually been hit by a vehicle.

When the witness is incapable of answering yes or no due to being intentionally obtuse then the questioning becomes a long drawn out affair as it did with those witnesses. JMOO

Yes!!! Cross takes a FRACTION of the time if the witness answers yes or no right away vs talking in circles while refusing to answer the question.

Laposta: Nose wound could not be caused by a piece of glass or sharp object.
Attorney Brennan asked if she knows that KR picked a piece of glass from JJO’s nose.
Laposta: She now says a thick piece of glass could cause the nose injury.

moo - another biased witness

My favorite part is when the good doctor laughs at Brennan's stupid questions and when she repeatedly tells him JOK did not die from hypothermia.

  • #296
looks like HB is desperately grasping at straws IMO

  • #297
Brennan, stop with useless questions regarding the hypothermia in this case as witness said. JOK was NOT going to survive his head trauma/brain trauma as stated many times by the Medical Examiner and this Dr. IMO

I'm on 2x speed right now ... but I agree! I'm trying to catch up ... she is a great witness!

exactly. It would have taken much less time if they could answer like Dr. Laposata is doing right now.
