Hank really got snookered with the X rays. I feel like it’s one of the main reasons he doesn’t want Welcher back on the stand. God forbid the jury hears: “I was not made aware by the CW of any X rays”

On the other hand, when Dr Welcher was testifying, he did have a curiously specific response IMO. He did not say ‘no x rays exist.’ His exact phrasing was ‘I did not view any X rays’, IIRC.

so there were no fractures noted in the autopsy report but they didn't actually X-ray from the records I've seen either his hand or his arm so there was at least according to autopsy report no overt fractures but the x-rays I saw none of them were of the arm and the autopsy report

So Brennan did not give his own witness exculpatory evidence. Shouldn't there be a harsh penalty for this???

This begs the question, if there were other xrays why didnt Welcher call Brennan and ask for these ?
Could that be it -
Did Welcher just overlook them in what was sent to him ?
To be fair Brennan is not personally sending the package to him
Either way it looks bad and Welcher on the stand would be another disaster because there is no science that backs their case

He said both, I believe. “I did not view any x-rays” and “it wasn’t X-rayed”

Thanks for posting this! So if Welcher is telling the truth here this is why Brennan has foregone rebuttal. If Welcher is lying, same- this is why there will be no rebuttal. Imo it's the former; I think Brennan withheld the arm and hand x-rays from Welcher.

Remember when AJ first tried to get the XRays admitted via Dr Laposata (sp?). Brennan immediately objected followed by a side bar. The x-rays came in. Game over Brennan. From that point on Welcher was never going to be on the stand again. What the actual... Brennan. So dirty. Jmo

Brennan is still "responsible" for the case though.
Only so many "mistakes" can be made before they look intentional IMO

If anyone is wondering how Dr. R did today, the fact that Brennan is skipping on calling Welcher again, knowing what he would testify to, should tell you everything. Again, JMO

Knowing this particular judge, she'll send the jurors home right after closing arguments, and they'll have to wait until Monday to begin deliberating.
I hope that I didn't just speak that into existence.
