Money. I feel I cannot look at his face or imagine what he could possibly say? They probably go over the questions with him but.. more I think of it..I cannot even believe he would do it. I can though for money and getting his poor me mug out there, no.. I can't. Those texts.

Hope they all enjoy having to look over their shoulders the rest of their lives, wondering if the FBI is gonna drop the hammer on them, or any other LEO, murder has no statute of limitations.
I hope they are looked at with scorn and contempt by their fellow citizens when they are out in public in their community.

Just an FYI if interested….there is a 20/20 special tonight on the trial @ 8:00 EST

They interviewed Proctor
So they just sat on this until the end of the trial? I wonder how edited it is? Bet the defense would have liked that footage.

Should bookmark this for when Karen does her first interview... so we all remember she was NOT the first one after the trial. JMO

I can’t believe Proctor is part of this special. Wonder if he’ll be on Dateline tomorrow too.

Edit: dateline as well!

It says 8:00-8:30pm on ABC …
Odd that a 20/20 is only a half an hour show ?
it's not even on my guide, so I'll turn it over and see at 8 EST Guessing it's a special?

This thread is moving fast so I apologize if this is a repeat:

A statement has been released reacting to Wednesday's verdict from several witnesses, including Jennifer McCabe, Matthew McCabe, Chris Albert, Julie Albert, Colin Albert, Nicole Albert, Brian Albert, Kerry Robert, and Curt Roberts. It states the following:

"Today, our hearts are with John and the entire O’Keefe family. They have suffered through so much and deserved better from our justice system. While we may have more to say in the future, today we mourn with John’s family and lament the cruel reality that this prosecution was infected by lies and conspiracy theories spread by Karen Read, her defense team, and some in the media. The result is a devastating miscarriage of justice."
Looks like future mug shots to me.

2 Hours makes more sense for a 20/20, that they had the show ready , just waiting for the Verdict, then added the Verdict footage this evening for the ending of the show, tossed it together , lol, and it’s on tonight for their usual 2hr show, 8-10pm. But my tv doesn’t show that ….. yet ? Anyway, we will soon find out !!

I never found the clips "compelling", but I also don't believe everything I see in a "clip" ... news, claims of different things, the world is full of short clips about everything lol Something taken out of context seems to be the norm in recent years. Look at news headlines, more often than not, they are misleading too.

The mortally wounded clip... it was pretty clear to me that she meant that morning when he was found, but some people thought otherwise.

Now that I know there will not be a 3rd season, I will go and watch her interviews and Body in the Snow docuseries if I can find them ;)
I just got home a little while ago, so I apologize if this is a repeat. Max has A body in the Snow. I think her other interview was with Dateline. I didn’t see the latter, but A Body in the Snow was good.

So the defenses theory of random people just beating him to death and leaving him to die, and a grand conspiracy to frame her, was taken seriously by the jury? What a joke. A terrible day for the justice system.
