AJ blasted both the judge and Brennan in his chat with Howie Carr. I really hope he and the other lawyers speak publicly and in more detail.
a high % of time these last weeks was spent waiting and sidebars.I can sum up most of that long, gruelling court case in two words:
Objection!
Sustained!
Over and over and over again.
For goodness sake, even the jury sent a note to the judge asking that the witnesses just be allowed to answer the questions.
So much of that. We viewers had the benifit of skipping through on YouTube. The jury had to wait it out. An enormous waste of time and an enormous waste of taxpayers money.a high % of time these last weeks was spent waiting and sidebars.
Michael Morrissey has spoken:
" The jury has spoken".
Yep. That's it folks..... ( Insert WB cartoons music here)

Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey reacts to Karen Read verdict, "The jury has spoken"
Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey issued a brief statement Thursday to WBZ-TV, his first comment since the verdict in the high-profile Karen Read trial.www.cbsnews.com
This is pathetic! I am so tired of these people blaming everyone else for their failures. Seriously? These citizens, taxpayers, spent weeks on that jury, putting their own lives on hold, to hear your sorry excuse for a prosecution. And now because you lost so badly, you're not even going to acknowledge them or thank them for their service?Michael Morrissey has spoken:

I’ll bet he’s used to doing the bare minimum at work - phoning it in, so to speak. I wonder if he even recalls HOW to be a a professional LEO. Unfortunately, that attitude is ‘catchy’. If Proctor is only phoning it in, yet collecting a full paycheck, others may follow. He’s been taking shortcuts and phoning it in for years. How about you start with Buhkenik and Tully, Colonel? Both still collecting fat salaries.
Watching Michael Proctor last night, two things struck me. First, he was clearly planning on making himself look like the victim here if he'd been called to the stand by the defense. Probably to the point of weeping about his "dumb remarks" whilst insisting he did a bang-up job otherwise. Good call not calling him.
Secondly, he's incredibly dumb. Like unbelievably stupid. Just the kind of idiot who would routinely plant evidence to make his work easier because he's so clueless as to how to actually proceed with a thorough, impartial investigation. Quality work takes work. And this work takes a least an average amount of brain cells. Something Proctor doesn't appear to have.
I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE that she said as long as MM is in power. THAT is the key word. MM /Power. I M O
What exactly did Dever originally say (& to whom) and when and how did she backtrack her original statement? TIAYes, I was thinking she was in the parking lot getting ready to leave when the call came in, I don't recall her (or anyone) saying she was on patrol (though that could be the case), but since she was in the control room when on overtime, I figured that was where she had been on her shift.
She said she saw Cheif Berkowicz and Brian Higgins in the sallyport the night of January 29th while Karen's Lexus was there and they spent a weird amount of time in there. Then later she said she was shown the car got there after her shift ended so she couldn't have possibly seen what she said she saw or thought she saw. It was strange. What exactly did Dever originally say (& to whom) and when and how did she backtrack her original statement? TIA
Her attitude was remarkable!
The physics and math proved he was not hit by a car, nor did her car hit him. So there’s that. IMO.The phone and car data proved it, as well as the actions and words of KR. ALL just my opinion.
I just got here and scanned a few pages and I don't think LYK was posted. This is one intelligent juror. He's standing up against interviewer suggesting to him that the jury needed to believe in a conspiracy in order to acquit. He's educating the interviewer about how they only considered the facts and evidence they were presented with in court. Impressive. Jmo

She lied in this trial and said it was a false memory. There is a snip of a vid that was unearthed once Proctor was fired of , I def believe it was her, walking into the sallyport, standing for a second towards them, then an ABRUPT turn around and out. It was if they said, you saw nothing, get out and keep your mouth shut'.. FOR REAL. imoShe said she saw Cheif Berkowicz and Brian Higgins in the sallyport the night of January 29th while Karen's Lexus was there and they spent a weird amount of time in there. Some commenters said calling Dever "backfired" for the defense. Oh, no, quite the opposite. It gave the jury the opportunity to see a real life corrupt (former) Canton cop blatantly lie and behave badly on the stand. She also originally reported this to The FBI, then reported back in to them....after claims of her " False Memory".
For me personally, this strange and belligerent testimony of Ms Deever was the cherry on the top of CORRUPTION claims/ reasonable doubt, if there ever was. The woman was about as believable as dirt...
