It appears that she had practiced law in another country (Brazil?).
She certainly paid attention to the witnesses and evidence presented.
So far Jess is the only one who asked about the judge.

I think because the video surveillance had been erased. Remember that unless it was asked to be saved, it was recorded over. The video that was saved was not turned over to the defense, just a copy of that video was. Some of the video was found in December when Proctor was fired. He had possession of all of the video that was turned in IIUC

BUT, we did get to see that bit of her, supposedly, doing that quick about face after she walked in to them in the sallyport with the car. I do not have a false memory of seeing that.It surfaced somehow. THAT bit of THAT time. KR's team will make sure no kind of 'highjinks' will be tried on her. Thankful they are still around for her at this time. Jackson lives in CA I believe, Yanetti is here. Oh do they need massive decompressing too. Back to their families.

Hahaha he thought the blue man was a joke and couldn’t believe Hank put forth such a witness. He basically confirmed everything (most of) us here were saying and thinking. I feel so validated lol. What a shame he missed out on being a juror.

I wish someone would ask if they had an inkling ARCCA was hired by the FBI and if they thought Chloe bit him.

By the looks of the "article" that was posted, I think he may have given typed out answers and he answered what he did lol He was an alternate, but he was the one that filled lots of notebooks and he is a bit older too. His lifetime of experience would have helped him make a decision by the sounds of it .. which I have said a few times over the weeks... if you don't live in a snowy climate, sometimes it's hard to understand just how much a body on the lawn in the snow would have stood out.

the juror was very careful in his answers as he should be. I simply still don't understand why the one was sealed and called back? Does anyone understand his answer. I felt like they were told something by the judge about talking about this and to just say it was the same.

I think he was cut off and either they didn't show his answer or Harvey just moved on without getting the full answer. JMO

Did you know that the ARCCA witnesses were first contacted by the FBI?

No. I only assumed it was the FBI after one of the witnesses before ARCCA mentioned “another agency.”

Ohhh I love Juror 11... I thought her 'speaking to the O'Keefe family' was nicely put, she says she left the courtroom in tears thinking about the O'Keefe's.

They must all be so overwhelmed with everything today, but I am happy we are hearing from some of them and shocked at how much they sound like 'one of us'.

I have just started to listen... one thing he brought up, he has never seen where 100% of objections are sustained.. but it happened here.. lol

Excellent interview!
Alan Jackson is really telling it like it was about Cannone interfering, and Michael Morrissey too. Do better, he says. He found this the most challenging case he's ever had to defend, due mostly because of the CW and Cannone trying to keep witnesses and experts from testifying.

Somewhere Chloe has bloodwork. She was adopted by Alberts. Retest John's clothing and compare it to Chloe's bloodwork. I doubt BA let Chole live.

AJ blasted both the judge and Brennan in his chat with Howie Carr. I really hope he and the other lawyers speak publicly and in more detail.

What a great interview and I love AJ's sense of humor!
He said that every single objection they made got sustained.
He said that the court and the CW tried to keep so much testimony from the jurors. He's never seen anything like this before. He was a prosecutor for 18 years and couldn't comprehend how they were able to get away with what Cannone did and had no praise for MM or the female assistant prosecutor either either. I don't think he mentioned Lally. LOL.

I am recording it later and will watch in the morning. But hearing that Karen says that when she called JM that morning, she said I'll call you back and call my sister .. when JM called her back she said my sister said you all didn't come in the house.

I know she said it was Matt that told her that.. but.. just another thing that might have been wrong.

I absolutely love what this juror said here:

What is something you would want everyone to know about this case or trial?

I think I’d want to speak directly to the O’Keefe family. I was the juror who left the courtroom in tears—and it wasn’t because justice had been served for Karen Read, though I was happy for her and her family. I cried for Mrs. O’Keefe, Paul, and everyone in John’s family. They did not get the justice they deserve.

I understand they might not want to hear from any of us, but I want to make it clear that our duty was only to determine whether there was reasonable doubt. If there’s any chance that Karen Read was responsible for John’s death, then the blame lies with the sloppy investigation that made it impossible to connect her to his tragic passing.

We didn’t fail the O’Keefes. The Commonwealth did. The police did.

Personally, I believe she is 100% innocent. But even for those jurors who still had doubts, none of us could say—beyond a reasonable doubt—that she did it.

To Karen Read’s supporters and advocates: please keep pressuring the DA. Keep standing against corruption. And above all, I hope we can still achieve justice for John O’Keefe.
