I'm concerned for Karen in the Civil Trial. And the fact that there is even a civil trial because the state wrongfully charged her is saddening. There is a guy on a social media platform (that they keep trying to ban) who literally shows how the marks on the back of John's head match up with the clasp on the back of his hat, and with the groves on weights in that basement. Maybe that evidence and be researched and used in the civil trial since BC is not in charge there?

You all probably know who she can sue better than I do, but she needs to sue all over the place. To have to sell your home, lose your job, cash in your 401k etc....just to try to keep from getting railroaded into prison is astounding. How would most regular people be able to survive that? We can't...that's what this whole thing is about for everyone outside of that courthouse.

Thank goodness she had a great team and jurors who listened despite BC blocking every objection.

Woah woah woah. This is the first time I’ve heard gallagher’s testimony saying he allowed the canton police to remove and manipulate the tail light in the sallyport and that it broke during removal. 🤯

He literally testifies to this. Why isn’t this everywhere or am i just “late”???

Below is his testimony. He admits this at 2:47

Very good find! This looks like it's from Trial 1. I don't think it was brought up in Trial 2 actually (about the light being broken upon removal)?

OMG ! Whenever I see those ugly mugs, my whole body starts to shake out of pure disgust. There's just something about the lot of them that turns my stomach.

ETA: Looks like this was already posted, but I'm still cringing after seeing their mugs. I can't put my finger on what it is about each of them that makes me go "ewwwwwwwwwwww".

Yes, she needs to sue. And, the shoe would be on the other foot. The burden of proof is lower for her to win than criminal. Because of Qualified Immunity, it is difficult to sue the prosecutors, judge, etc. but you can sue the jurisdiction (city, county) for violating civil rights. Opportunities in state and Federal court. I’d go federal, particularly since I could use the FBI info for my side. The jurisdiction would very much want to settle versus get exposed to more discovery. Also, the jury pool would be local. I think they would by sympathetic.

Also saw parts of interviews with Proctor...."That's not me, that's not who I am"..
I beg your finest pardon, sir...that absolutely IS YOU.
He even said he did a good investigation....um you are FIRED.

These people actually think we are all this stupid.

And Proctor said last night.. he wouldn't change a thing in the investigation.
The guy is trying to get his job/career back so what else would he say?
His arrogance most likely has him believing that his interview served him well.

IMO

Excellent point on the Federal side with the FBI info available to use!

Jen won't stop she really thinks she's the victim.

I thought during cross of all the defense witness he was acting like a defense attorney: Being confrontational, sowing confusion, jumping from topic to topic, introducing supposition as fact.

I think he had been beat up pretty good by Dr LaSordra, because as HB tried to create scenarios that would include impact of the Lexus on JOK, she simply repeated that she could not agree with any such speculation because in her learned opinion no such impact ever occurred. He was obviously frustrated.

I did think that after he questioned Dr Wolfe and tried hard to discount the experiments performed without comprehending the impetus, and then tried to attribute holes created by the LE lab to road rash (and got caught), he was chastened greatly and from there on he was more or less seeking surrender. Certainly the biomechanical expert from ARRCA was having no problem holding his own during HB's cross.

I would agree, he recognized that he was beat and I don't think the verdict was any great surprise to him.
IMO throughout

I got the feeling HB was intimidated by Dr. Laposata. Even his greeting with her before he started questioning felt rather timid and awkward. He had a different demeanor during her questioning than with any other defense witness.

He’s worked with her before and I just feel like there’s some sort of history there that made him act differently with her. Maybe he secretly respects her. Maybe he knows that SHE knows his old tricks and won’t be frazzled by him. Not sure what the issue was there.

Brennan doesn't want to burn any bridges with the doctor because he wants to hire her again whether as a defense attorney or special prosecutor ( I doubt that position will come his way again).
imo

I didn't watch them all testify in the 1st trial (the McAlberts).. curious if anything they said was different from their testimony?

Watched that clip of Gallagher from 1st trial... he makes a point of saying "I didn't see the tail light before that" (it being removed) Which makes me wonder... did ANYONE from CPD ever testify that they saw the tail light in the garage and that is what it looked like? I don't even recall YB being asked... is that the way the tail light looked when you saw it in the garage?

Also.. noteably absent from the "Friends at the Center of the KR trial"...

I think (despite what he said to JBC when AJ called him out on having used her as an expert previously) that he didn't want to burn any bridges with the good doctor, as he knows her qualifications and skills, and would likely want to have them on his side in his future trials.

Interesting clip. We finally get a picture of Chloe ( I think 🤔). BA not a good liar.
