Yanetti seems like one of the most sincere kind attorneys I have ever watched. Not as flashy as the rest but steady and a real rock for KR. I assume the family must have known him for KR to reach right out to him?
I think I read or saw an interview where she said she looked online for a lawyer with DUI experience since she had been drinking. If thats the case and she "lucked" into hiring Yannetti and then eventually this whole team, that was probably her luckiest google search she'll ever make.

It really saddens me to see the response of so many people on the G side talking about a travesty of justice. Did they not watch? 24 jurors found Karen Not Guilty after what can only be described as a 2 against 1 scenario with the CW and the judge working hand in hand. And the nerve to blame it on the supporters? This was about the evidence that was brought forth in BOTH trials in spite of all of the evidence from the defense ruled out by the judge. The CW had 95% of the cards in their favor and still couldn't win. So stop pointing fingers at the jury and the supporters and the defense team or TB, Take a good long look at the Canton PD, the Mass State Police, the lying witnesses, I could go on and on. Then they need to have a good long look in the mirror.

I also saw an interview w David Yanetti and I wish I could remember who it was with. He explained he got a call from Karen out of the blue, thinking it was a drunk driving case at first, and then something she said (I can't recall what was said), made him take the case. He has believed in her from the beginning IMO.

So true not just one jury but two NG on counts 1/3. I guess family would have been happier with the manslaughter but count 1 was always an over-reach.

I’m not a cop at all and I am pretty sure I would throw on pants and go outside if my good friend was found dead on my lawn after being invited to my house. How can he think this sounds reasonable to normal people? He is stone cold.
Dead person found on my lawn. Well, crap, now I’m going to dragged into an investigation. How unfair!

Gotta love how the Alberts, McCabes and Proctors are so busy on the redemption tour but it’s making them look worse and worse.
I hope the idiots keep talking…..little tidbit every time

Not only that, but many who saw and heard the same evidence and still argued she was certainly guilty. "The evidence in its totality". "Digital data doesn't lie". "Special Prosecutor HB is brilliant". "The blue paint experiment was genius". "Shanon with one 'n" never lied about his education". And on and on. It was beyond illogical to me.

Exactly! He just wanted his day off after a night of partying hearty. No need to investigate or see if he could help. Just wanted to stay away from any problem because it wasn't HIS problem. Well, guess what, it became his problem and will continue to be his problem for a long long time.

Yes, in retrospect JOK was already deceased by the time help arrived, but BA couldn't possibly have known that at the time (wellll, unless....), and using it as his excuse for not having gone outside. Geez I hope there's some further investigation, the more they talk, the more they leak ino.

This last idea ^ ("the more they talk, the more they leak") needs to be spotlighted and fully appreciated. Thank you for the reminder.

While its certainly annoying to see these lying liars given air time to try to sell the public on their lies, let's applaud that they are talking and blathering on and on and on. Let them speak!!

Every word offers a glimpse into the mind of one of the people behind the veil that night, who do know what truly happened. Even if physical evidence has now been buried, the truth of what was done to JOK by one or more of their group burns within them, and they also each have personal incentive to embellish their own story of innocence at the expense of the others.

Keep talking, all of you. We are listening to what you want to share.

Would anyone here know why JOK's headstone says, "It's only a movie".
It had to be a fave saying of his about things, but it meant something to 'the family' who would of paid for the headstone and ordered it..I am pretty sure that was donated with funds or a person though. I just would want the people that loved him so for real, do see what really happened, as they have not at this time it seems. IMO

KR: Jen McCabe - it's me or her. Either I'm going down or you are.

Karen Read did not go down!

I ADORED when she said that! I gasped! KR has some serious cajones, I about clapped when I heard those words. Jen McCabe's lies are mountainous.

earlier in the tread is quoted that line. I cannot believe he said that. Remarkable.
'Jaw dropping' fits this statement more than it ever did anywhere in the world to ANYONE. IMO

Dis gusting. BA leading the show. CA saying the citizens have dehumanized us. Dang right we have. I can't believe BA said he didn't go out because he was a Boston Cop not a Canton cop. Brian that makes you look even worse if it is all possible. Moo
What an insane thing for BA to say.
I didn't go out to help a man, a COP, dying on MY lawn because I work for Boston not Canton. WHERE is the humanity?? It is absent in all these witnesses.

Mmc: We took what we thought was the high road, let the court do its job.

NA: Think long and hard before you're a witness in a case because no-one protects you. It's very sad...And our lives just changed forever.

BA: The criminal justice system has let us down at every turn. And yesterday was the final letdown. There's nobody left to stand up for us.

CA: What the've done is they've dehumanized us, to the sense where we're not real people, we're almost like caricatures, we're just pawns."

JMc: Re: The hos long search. She asked me to do it. Doesn't matter how much I say about it, people will not believe it...

You know when you meet someone and they just give you the heebie-jeebies? That is how I react to each of these caricatures (as CA stated LOL). They are not individual thinkers. They speak as a unit, incapable of independent thought. I find them a dysfunctional family system in plain view right there.

They're like a bunch of thugs, always used to having the power and now they have zero status and zero power. Thank goodness!

MOO
They've dehumanized us. No, you all did that yourselves and continue to do so. Clearly. IMO

I thought he was severely injured at the time and died in the ambulance or at the hospital?

OMG ! Whenever I see those ugly mugs, my whole body starts to shake out of pure disgust. There's just something about the lot of them that turns my stomach.

ETA: Looks like this was already posted, but I'm still cringing after seeing their mugs. I can't put my finger on what it is about each of them that makes me go "ewwwwwwwwwwww".
MOO
It's that looking in the face of evil you read about in horror stories. IMO

In cardiac arrest and not breathing when emt's arrived.

#3, using absolutes like never or always. My lawyer has told me he tells clients to avoid never & always
Yep, people hate a hard lie. Saying ‘he was never in the house’ could have the subtext of ‘…before that night’. It’s easier to hedge than just tell a flat lie for most people.
