I just saw that the sidebahs have been approved for release by Bev! Gotta drive so hopefully someone else can dig it up and post it. Let’s hope they are released asap!!
All sidebars except any related to juror issues unfortunately. But still a huge development!

I’m surprised they even release juror names. I’m Canadian and I don’t think they do that here.

I don't believe they are releasing the jurors names. And I certainly wouldn't expect that. But some of the sidebars I was most interested in were about dismissed jurors and I think those should have been included, with redactions as needed.

It is the flipping of the Sallyport video, and the following side-bahs related to it that I am most interested in. That...IMO, was jury tampering to the nth degree. And, they all got caught. But...Judge Bev said.." I'll allow it". And here we are.

This is HUGE! Deitch was the director of the federal probe into corruption in Norfolk County and was the one who got in touch with the Read team about the shenanigans. And he's running on anti-corruption!! If he wins...Tick Tock indeed!

The gifted article from the Herald mentions Proctor as being included I think.

Paragraph eight
You are correct. I somehow missed Proctor's name entirely and only read Tully and Bukhenik.

"The complaint targets Brian and Nicole Albert, Matthew and Jennifer McCabe and Brian Higgins as being involved in killing O’Keefe.

Michael Proctor, the lead MSP investigator in O’Keefe’s murder, who has since been fired and given up on an appeal to regain his job, MSP Sgt. Yuriy Bukhenik and MSP Lt. Brian Tully are also being sued in the complaint."

I think Connor/Higgins and BA were all involved -

Maybe it was Connor who threw the first punch, and Connor that caused John to fall backwards and hit his head and die, but the two others got involved along with Chloe.
All three are cupable in the skirmish imo.
But the tag line of the night was, we have to protect the "kid". Thats why there was no mention of him on police reports as being at the house. They erased him entirely.
Remember they were all just as hammered as John and Karen if not more so - Higgy and Albert had been drinking all day imo.

So they decided no way we can call this in and ruin this kids life and the cover up began. As a Boston gang cop I have to figure BA was not an amateur at this - ditto for BH and his ATF position.

But - and I love this for them - the "girl", Karen, out smarted them and hired top lawyers. They expected her to plea. After all, as far as they knew she was not a threat - had no connections etc - easy peasy - business as usual. They controlled the narrative and evidence/reports.

Matt knew - either she pleas or it's an "episode" -

Now that their butts are on the line officially, I wonder who will do what?

Options: Stay and fight the charges/ get out of the country to a non extradition place/spill the beans.

What do we think they will do ?

Who is Connor?

Who is Connor?
Oops. Thought I wrote Colin. CA and JA’s son. They lived around the corner from John. The kid that was at the party that got left out of the police report.

I originally thought that ColA was involved too and I still do and I am surprised that at one of his drunken parties he has not started to even brag a little.

BBM below - the Defense motion has not been logged per mass live but was served last week. Hearing tomorrow about it all in the afternoon it seems !

JMO

“In a legal brief opposing that effort, a pair of lawyers representing the five witnesses called Read’s claims a “vile work of fiction lacking any basis in fact, evidence, or law.”

“The Commonwealth Witnesses vigorously dispute Defendant Read’s allegations and will defend against these false claims,” the filing reads.

That defense will include motions to dismiss, efforts to take the case out of state court and move it to federal court, and potential counterclaims against Read and Aidan Kearney, the blogger known as Turtleboy. Kearney was a loud champion of Read’s innocence, leading up to and during her trials, and is charged with witness intimidation ….”

The brief was served on Read’s lawyers last week but has not yet been docketed in Plymouth Superior Court, where the lawsuit was filed. A hearing on the suit is scheduled for Friday afternoon and could well address many of the issues raised in the filing.

Them wanting to take it to federal court doesn't seem all that smart, all things considered

Well ... Alan Jackson is going to get Karen Read everything she deserves ... monetary compensation and moral vindication! I believe those responsible for JOK's death and those involved in the cover up are finally going to be held accountable.
Karma works :)

Today Karen’s team is in civil court. I don’t know if it’s in person or via zoom so hopefully someone else knows. I’m sure the usual content creators will stream it.

It's at 2 pm today eastern time and you can stream it live without commentary (my preference) as per the article, in their app.

Apparently no streaming is allowed and there will only be audio, not video.
Yes I understand it turned out differently - that’s Massachusetts for you!
Next status conference is Dec 19 th 2 pm
I heard.
I will make the rounds later to see if anything actually substantive occurred.
