Btw, Nick Reiner just hired Alan Jackson as his defense attorney. Alan has at least two high-profile cases in CA on his schedule. Not sure if this Civil matter will carry much weight for him, especially since civil litigation is not his expertise. JMO

I was just in the process of posting this! I wonder if the length of time for each case is why he’s taking on all 3 cases. Karen’s case is going to take forever. Reiner may not be fit for trial.

I envision an insanity argument and when that fails, efforts to take the death penalty off the table. It doesn't seem like it will be very complicated.

Are you guys following Corri Hopkins on Twitter? She’s the lawyer that sued to get the FOIA and sidebars from Karen’s trial. She dropped one today where Guarino talked about getting info from Jen’s phone but on the stand he said he didn’t. I can’t screen cap now but will try to later unless someone else can do it. Also, Jen called Nicole twice around 6:07 am on the 29th. I think we only heard about one call in trial 2. Makes me wonder if a lot of this stuff wasn’t known by Karen’s lawyers.

Karen was on for about an hour last night on the fundraiser. She was very emotional. I really hope she’s getting therapy because she seems to be having trouble navigating life outside of working on her case. It’s also pretty obvious the damage a certain former supporter has done to her.

Most of us saw right through cannone's act right from the beginning, but these sidebars really just prove beyond a shadow of doubt how unethical and biased she was in these trials. It's shocking to me how she was allowed to run her court in such blatant disregard of the Law! She needs to removed from ANY position of authority. She's an absolute disgrace in my opinion!

To know that JMc called her sister (twice, apparently) with no answer she said, yet she didn't think her sister might also have been in danger upon seeing a dead man (her great friend JOK) laying in their yard. It simply doesn't make sense.

Kerry Robert’s. What on earth is she thinking about getting interviewed on the McCabe/Albert/Higgins podcast. She literally admitted that she never heard Karen tell Jen to google about hypothermia but she says that doesn’t matter because she knows it happened.

She also said the idea of creating the timeline of that night came from John O’Keefe’s mother. That surprised me because I always assumed it was Jen.

I won’t post the link here because it probably goes against rules and I also don’t want to give them the clicks but I hope she keeps talking. It makes her look worse than ever. It also makes Karen’s reactions the morning they were looking for John more realistic. She complains that Karen was in the back seat of the car without her seatbelt on but Karen was in a state of panic and all of her reactions that morning were expected by someone who was missing a loved one.

If there is a insanity defense in the works, does that mean NR is admitting that he did it?? If so why not plead guilty and go straight to sentencincing. The Parkalnd shooter did that and the sentencing hearing took a good bit of time still. Why waste time on a trial. Does AJ really think NR would be acquitted???

I would be shocked if AJ’s plan is to get him acquitted. I have a feeling the family is paying for AJ and they want Nick to be locked up but not in prison. Probably something like a psychiatric hospital.

Confirmed my opinion of her as a wannabe in this. Don't know or understand the dynamics of that town and it's groupies but I would think that she would lay low and be thankful that she has not been dragged into this more than she has been. Wonder what her family.. hubby and kids.. think of this latest exposure. The podcast I saw was painful to watch. The hosts on it were awful, IMO not just their obvious dislike for KR and their belief of her guilt but their voices...valley girl meet vocal fry. I couldn't place the gal who was to the immediate right of Kerry...not the hosts.

she goes by Mama Llama on twitter. Hates Karen and posts a ton even though the trial is over. Now she’s jumped on this thing for the McAlberts and Higgins.
