I can't watch this morning, but I caught a few minutes of the new feed. That has got the be the most unflattering camera angle possible. Double-chin and nostril cam.
I know it sounds silly but that actually made me really sad for her! Can you imagine knowing a huge amount of people are viewing you at your least flattering angle, all.day.long? Ugh.

Jessica Hyde says she got data both from the DA's office and from the defense. She examined google searches done by Jennifer McCabe on 1-29-22. Hyde use different tools to check data.

The defense claims McCabe googled "hos long to die in cold" at 2:27 am - long before she said she was informed O'Keefe was missing, as she testified. Hyde can check data for deleted googles etc.

So Lally is AGAIN trying to defend one of his witnesses instead of providing any evidence that KR killed JOK. Such a freakin waste.

Is it going to be because of time (time zone) difference as to why the time shows 2:27? moo
No, the time shown in the screen shot is very precise: 1/29/2022 2:27:40 AM (UTC-5)

That "UTC-5" indicates that the time shown is 5 hours offset from the Coordinated Universal Time. (Which is basically the same as GMT with some technical differences.)

Hyde says she used one of the tools to focus on Safari history for the date 1/29/22.

Hyde says she searched two phrases related similar to "how long to die in cold".

Hyde says Cellebrite analysis found initial "hos long to die in cold" search was in a "suspended state tab"Google says: "A suspended state tab is a browser tab that has been automatically put to sleep when it's been inactive for a certain amount of time"

Hyde is describing a phone data wallfile like a warming table at a restaurant between the kitchen and the diners' table.

Hyde says closing a tab on a search can result in a "deletion" but it's not the same as a user-initiated deletion.

@SueNBCBoston

She is explaining that sometimes a user doesn’t delete something, but it is deleted.

Several jurors are really engaged.

After a tense morning this witness has a lot of positive energy.
Now she is discussing what an artifact is.

Reporters are behind the video screen. I typically have a browser open with our stream from the pool camera to see exhibits. Since the camera has been shut off, we can't see what's on the screen in the court feed version

Hyde says she found a search for "hos long to die in cold" with timestamp at 2:27am. But says that timestamp "is not the time necessarily of this search." Says there's a high likelihood that the timestamp applies to when tab was opened for another sports-related search.
