If she were going to run away for whatever reason, she couldn’t wait just a few more days to have her car back?
If she left the state, she may not want or need the car.
There could be a partner who has a vehicle.

Hmmm...that’s definitely peculiar. I am thinking back to earlier reports and the Find Sandra website where it mentions she has watermelon cut up in the fridge for the sleepover on Friday? I would imagine she would have done that after the 7th and would have certainly made some sort of trash by then.

I have to believe law enforcement there is competent and doing their best to solve it. They have no obligation to give us weirdos anything :p I am sure that the drop off story has to have been verified in different interviews..

It’s certainly possible, but I tend to doubt it. If she were going to run away for whatever reason, she couldn’t wait just a few more days to have her car back? Possibly she wanted to use it as a cover, but how would that work for her financially long term? Moo:)
Also, none of her assets have been touched. That doesn’t rule it out, of course. But I’m not inclined to think that’s what happened here. IMO.

You make a good point. Cutting it up on the 7th never really made sense to me unless she had plans on the day of the 8th and knew she wouldn’t have the time.

Couple of other possibilities I can think of...
Maybe she intended to give them the watermelon on the 7th but got sidetracked when she had to take her car in.
OR, maybe she cut it up for herself to eat.

Sadly, I haven’t seen anything :-(
:( Hopefully LE is awaiting some test results and investigative analysis from searching her home recently. We often don't hear whether anything was found or not, but I hope family is kept in the loop as much as is possible.

If the family goes kind of quiet from this point it may be a good sign, meaning the investigation has revealed something of importance.

I have a cut up watermelon in my fridge right now. I always cut them up right away becasue those big things don't fit very easily in my fridge. Just sayin...

Yes, I’m also not hung up on the watermelon thing. I think it may have just been one of those things that was said when her daughter was trying to sort through what was happening, but it ended up in every news article.

Still nothing ? Where is she ?

Just did some more looking and there just seems to be nothing. Hoping something pops up soon. I feel so bad for those little boys! IMO

There is nothing, doesn't seem like voluntary missing, unless you all see things I have missed. Keep wondering if there isn't an ex bf or so somewhere that knows what happened. She had recently moved closer to kids and grandkids, maybe that made a relationship difficult and things went bad fast. JMO just hate the cases that go cold because LE assumes voluntary and time and possible evidence is lost so case is deemed cold. There were signs at the house that were hinky ! Sorry for rant. Keeping Sandra and family in my prayers. Think about her in the evening, hope there are answers for kids and grandkids:(

It is stated in her NamUs profile about Wednesday 7th: "Crispo spoke with her family later that evening via home phone." Was that part ever confirmed or disputed?

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

The house was found with the lights on. Didn't she leave home and (supposedly) return when it was still daylight? Someone must have turned on the lights.

Has it been established if she had a habit of leaving her back door unlocked?

this is worded strangely:

"When Crispo never showed up on Friday (08/09/19) to watch the grandchildren, family members checked the residence."

'showed up' makes it sound as if she could have gone some where and returned.... but presumably she never got her car back from the mechanics? It was still there on Friday?

I saw that too, but it was actually LC that was dropping the kiddos off when she discovered SC missing, so I believe that statement is slightly inaccurate. IMO

Very peculiar case, especially since there is not much crime in the immediate area. I've spent lots of time in the area, and the last big crimes we had were break-ins, but this was back in 2017 IIRC. I can't remember if anything was stolen from any of the houses or not, though. I've heard of a few cases of attempted kidnapping around this time too, unsure if anyone was ever caught.

Looking at the Hanson MA public logs right now of that week (which includes Sandra's case, page 17 under "Walk-in - MISSING PERSON"), there isn't anything too suspicious, mostly just area checks and medical emergencies. Though what I do want to note is that there were a few burglar alarms that had gone off around town the days prior to her disappearance. These probably aren't connected, but I just wanted to point them out if nobody else already has. I know some of them say they're "defective", but you never know, I suppose.

Hope Sandra is found soon!

has anyone said whether SC would have typically locked her door? Some people are more casual about that than others.
