I’m not familiar with the area - someone want to explain the vast differences between Quincy versus Hanson?
City versus lake home?

Oh yes, I wonder if her daughter did drop them off on her way, where Sandra and her father lived but being so young most parents like them in their own homes/ cribs/ beds etc for naps and familiar surroundings. I know..we know so little about her of course via her daughter. My impression is that Sandra had an 'insular' type of lifestyle. I wasn't surprised by the comment of her daughter saying that she wouldn't know where Fall River was due to my thoughts of her. It IS surprising, I know and impossible a statement to us, but I just feel she was not too 'aware' of the rest of the 'world' outside her own. I think I mean that it's a kind of person/ people that a place like Hanson would be 'out of this world' to them. Not the average person of course, but I knew of some that were the same, not aware of where other towns/ cities were IN THIS STATE. Mind boggleing to the rest of us, yes. True about the pricing of a little house in that area for MA.

Quincy is a city close to Boston, though they lived by the ocean there in Houghs Neck, a section of Quincy. Very busy/ active/ melting pot. Hanson is a ruralish town and residential. There is a lake there. Where Sandra lived was an old 'camp/cottage' area where some homes were bought and 'flipped' or bought inexpensively and renovated by the buyers, for a low price to be had considering prices for homes in Eastern MA. People in Quincy and towards Boston are not apt to be 'jaunting' out to towns like Hanson. I only have due to on the way to Duxbury Beach but I grew up on the South Shore area so always knew of it etc. of course. It's also not a lake there where people really go to as you think of lakes for recreation. But you can get more home for your 'buck' in some towns if it suits you and convenient enough to get on the highways to work.

Something else that I noticed - has a job/employment ever been mentioned?
Coworkers? Perhaps she retired early?
Or was on disability?

No, nothing I've seen anywhere was ever mentioned of a previous job, or if on disability. Sure she didn't retire early. No input from others really that I've seen as well, just from her daughter. Her extended family would know all the background, but not out there on anything regarding jobs or so.

I have not been able to get to the bottom of Sandra's source of income. At all. To the point that I feel like it's a little strange. I guess she could have inherited the house from her father, and sold it at a major profit - but you'd think she'd have to share with her siblings. Perhaps there's a rift there....

The daughter appears to be the family spokesperson, I’m guessing other family members have social media with Sandra’s missing poster and information posted.
Odd statement about just started coming around after the children born (no idea on their age) and she put herself through school. So neither parent participated in college help. Sounds like an estranged relationship had been going on for quite a while. Maybe that’s why the daughter is unable to provide any personal information regarding Sandra. JMO

I'm not saying this is definitely the case, but sometimes there is a sort of underground economy, let's say. Where people are paid under the table for the work that they do to make a living. This is pretty common in this part of MA. Examples would include nannying or running a non-licensed in home daycare, taking care of an elderly person, or house cleaning. If this is the case, of course family will less than forthcoming as the legality of the work and taxes etc can be called into question. JMO...something like this could be involved here.

thinking of Sandra... one day, someone will let their guard down, some rift will tear people apart, and only then will we find her.

IMO.
