Not disputing a video, which would have infinitely more information. This still image could have simply captured him pacing back and forth. There's no guarantee he continued in the direction he appears to be heading at this particular moment in time.

Any idea the specific parking garage he was reportedly heading to? The one near Gov Center?

A thought - I'm thinking that this particular camera view (which looks out the entrance of the market onto Congress Street) wouldn't be able to say he was heading towards the surface artery, which is behind the market. So there's a later image of him from another camera? Were there ever images from the Bell in Hand video posted anywhere?

*edit* should have quoted carbuff's post above...

This is what was released:

The bar released a statement Monday saying surveillance video showed Marr leaving the establishment at 1:20 a.m. “The video clearly shows that Zachary did not try to re-enter the Bell in Hand,” read the statement. “Other video has shown he was last seen in front of the garage heading towards Surface Artery.”

Like I said before have the checked the cars in these parking garages?
If he was cold that would be a place to go.
maybe he found one that was unlocked.

from this picture he is looking to the right. From where he is standing would he be looking in the direction of the Bell in hand -
I thought it was directly across the street

Can someone tell if from this location or the eay he is looking he was checking out the main- exit, or could it be one of the less known ones (they missed each other?)

also I do think it does look more like a leg than a light pole through the door

He does seem to be intently looking, perhaps for his cousins.

Also, I agree with earlier posts that I am almost certain that those are indeed a pair of legs in upper right window in tan boots. And what appears to be a slightly bent at the knee leg in the middle window. Wish I knew if the female cousin was wearing high tan boots....

I think he was in the cold for to long. Between the cold and the alcohol I believe he became disoriented and wandered off and the cold got the better of him.
I think he is right there close to where he went missing from.

It is absolutely gorgeous out. Yet I just got a VM from my Daughters school, pipes burst over the weekend, no school on Monday.

This week has certainly been a sad reminder of how swiftly life can turn on a dime!

Hope everyone is safe, and well and enjoying this beautiful Saturday! Sending love, love, LOVE to all!

I need you all to know that I so appreciate responses to the poll. Its just so informative - and I cant understand why this whole thing pains me. There is anger , confusion, empathy, fear of what happened that night .

But I do, find some comfort in the thread has been active-- we have gottn much information that noone has - but most important to meis that there ARE others who are finding this very painfull.

Sounds aweful - but is is so sad, just is - you all have been helpful in trying to "grasp" what this might be.

There are some levels here , where I wish he was not found in the water. As horrible as it sounds, I do think we all are at the place that we belive he is dead.

But for me I would rather him be dead on land, at least at that place, we could get more understanding of "what" occured.

I wish someone could help - I think if he is in the water the ME examiner is not going to be able to gice "an explaintion".

So that leaves me , repusivly, is this a cover up , ie LE ddknowss they have a serial on their hands but are not gonna release that cause it makes them incomptent , which is repusive to me.

We all know that if they de4clare serial, a task force would happen --- so this person has a greater chance of being stopped

The picture by Car messed me up. It is so much closer than I thought .Then that makes me pissed at the bar- that is horrid and not OK and I hope someone is charged, cause there aint no way around it, if he was bouned, and that jerk did not deal with trying to get the kid some way to survive in minus 9 IMO you should be charged-- you were directly the cause of death, if there is no vilent, abduction, robbery, drug, sex sh$t.

As socity , this should, if it turn out this way - be a concerning and shameful event.

And if turns out that way, then we are talking basicaly about a totally lost, petrified, huam in much pycsical pain actually knowing he iss gonna die, in pain and powerless, young enouf to physically try to get out ( compared to a 59 year old ) and not be able to got to be terrifing,

The picture shows a blue tarp, tented area. Not water. Boston is for sure, like a labyrinth though. I still get lost, routinely. ( But I have very poor sense of direction. I need a map to find my own kitchen!).

I am greatfull we are all here sharing also, even if nothing can be done...

I'm sure we all can remember having a bad time, and someone saying, " Man, that's terrible!". And suddenly you feel a little better somehow...No solution, but still somehow the burden feels a little lighter for having been shared.

adding to the problem here

there have been no pressers that I know of which leads me ........................................

Sadly this happens so very often!
I don't think its a cover up of any kind and I don't think its foul play.
I think LE just needs to find him.
Hard to find missing persons and many times they are right there and are just missed the first time the area is searched. Good idea to go search it again!

Thinking about the family member who said "he's probably in the water" ...to me that doesn't seem so sinister, cold or creepy.

Perhaps it was as close as they could come to admitting that he was dead or drowned, those are harsh terms indeed. Couldn't it be that they just grasp on to the less harsh, "in the water"? As a way to avoid those painful words, at the same time trying to come to accept the (unacceptable!), likely reality?

I am a bar owner

I am a bar owner. This has been happening. I am giving the least information . If bar owners are so confident it not related to their staff release all vidos that "play"
