The P-LE are going to have to start getting tough, charge them all with accessories to the fact, as they have enough discrepancies to prove there are lies being told, maybe then someone will start telling the truth. This is getting to me, and I think I watch to many crime shows. But Gawd how long can this go on, there is a little girl out there somewhere, and nobody is getting any closer to finding her. Let me in a room with the McCanns and their so called friends, and maybe a baseball bat.

Aussie Mike has hit the nail on the head once again.
I find it very strange that Mike mentioned Madeleine's toy CuddleCat in his blog last week, saying how strange it was that KM wasn't carrying it around anymore. And darned if CuddleCat didn't show up in Scotland at the christening with Kate in her yellow and green dress.
I think she does it when she knows there is going to be heaps of media there, to make sure that they see her as the caring mum. What a joke.

Disregarding someones allegations because they come to late and the memory is a result of prodding with a possible suspect as opposed to an unbiased recollection seems unadvisable. Because of these factors there is no way I can put much believe into this new allegation of Murat being seen in the vicinity of where Maddie dissapeared from. Human recollection is poor as it is; once that recollection process is contaminated with leeding information it becomes unreliable and potentially unintentionaly dangerous. The methodology behind these new wittnesses placing Murat at the scene of an alleged crime is flawed and in my opionion can not be considered valid.

I don't believe these witnesses either. It's just too convenient that, with the failure of the McCann friends to make their testimony stick enough to get Murat arrested, out trot "new" witnesses to put another nail in his coffin.
Interesting that you should bring up the resemblance, CarpeDiem, because I suddenly noticed it once you mentioned it. GM and RM are very similar in a lot of ways.

I wish with all my heart that the McCanns had visited the USA for their holidays in May. If Madeleine had disappeared under the same circumstances in Florida or California or Hawaii, you can bet the investigation would've been handled much differently.
I am not criticizing the P-LE, but we just don't do things the same here. The McCann parents would've been treated as suspects from the get-go, separated and polygraphed. Their friends would've faced the same diligent questioning, and there would be none of this secrecy stuff going on. Once CPS realized that the children had been left alone behind an unlocked door, neglect charges would've been levied against all involved.

I went over and read Gerry's newest blog entries... can you believe that he sounds like he was making light of the fact that the jk rowling website has a link to Maddie's page? Seriously... his words:

Come on... he makes it sound like a cotten picken scavenger hunt. Believe me, if you want your kid found, you don't send people on website scavenger hunts... you get to the point and move on to working your butt off to find the child!!! And I am not talking about just sitting around designing new posters, either. Thank goodness that rowling and company have only contributed to the reward for Maddie's safe return... not the ever growing unregulated (unregulated as in: it's not being controlled by officials to make sure it isn't being squandered) bank roll that is giving the McCann's a nice nest egg.
There is something seriously wrong with this whole mess. I am obsessed with finding Madeleine- I dream about her. I keep hoping one of my neighbors is involved in the kidnapping (which is so stupid) and she pops up in their back yard so I can rescue her. Or I'll go shopping or to the beach, and there will be Madeleine! But you look at her parents, and they act as if nothing's wrong. How crazy is it that the whole world seems to care more about their daughter than they do!

I also dream about madelaine, but I cant find her. This is all a mess, and these new witnessess are thrown in to put the P LE of track, I think there is a conspiracy going on.
I wonder if they didn't expect this to be such a long lasting topic, with the world on edge wondering about their child. Maybe they thought they'd report her, a couple weeks go by, and the world moves on to focusing on another missing child or some other world event. That's just something I was thinking about today.
I came up with an interesting idea this afternoon. I was wondering if kidnapping Madeleine was an accident. Maybe there was a pedophile who was targeting resort children and couldn't pass up an opportunity to molest her. But instead of taking her, all he planned to do was remove her from her apartment temporarily and put her back when he was done. Except KM came back early and actually checked on the children, ruining his plans so he had to take Madeleine away with him.

Just don't mention what Madeleine is going through, or has gone through.
There are too many sensitive people on there who are willing to discuss the case, without facing the hard, sad facts.
