I think GM is quite a bit taller than RM.

I don't find these people's recollections reliable either. Besides, Murat and Gerry have quite the resemblence to one another. In the dark, how do they know whom or which one of them they saw?

I don't post there anymore. I got so tired of listening to their "poor McCanns" drivel. But the forum is nice to read for updated information.

Bottom line, if you watch your children carefully, they stand a much better chance of living to become adults.

I wonder if they didn't expect this to be such a long lasting topic, with the world on edge wondering about their child. Maybe they thought they'd report her, a couple weeks go by, and the world moves on to focusing on another missing child or some other world event. That's just something I was thinking about today.

Surely thought all they would have to do would be to go home and go back to work? The media interest is being kept alive becasue of them???

I agree. The fact that Madeleine is now known world wide is due to the determination of her family, friends and many others who desperately want to help keep Madeleine's case high profile and hopefully give her the best chance of being found.

Now, if only the McCanns would use some of the money they've collected to help find her. Surely they could hire some private investigators to look at evidence or search the area around the resort. Especially since they're so positive she's still in Portugal. It isn't a very big country.

Did I just read this correctly: LE let the friends that were there with the McCann's that night, question Murat for 5 hours at the station?

The three friends - Fiona Payne, Russell O'Brien and Rachael Oldfield - were allowed to grill the British expatriate in a five-hour session at a police station.

Something I saw on another Madeleine board is an observation of how much R Murat looks like G McCann, especially in the dark. I wonder if there has been a mistake... or RM is being railroaded.

I said that here yesterday, that they have a resemblence to eachother, this is the only board I read though so good for the other's if they picked that up. Someone else here mentioned that one of them is a lot taller than the other. Frankly, I don't know how tall either of them are, nor have I seen it mentioned in print.

Thanks, CD, for the great observation. I personally think that the McCann friends want someone to blame for Madeleine's disappearance, and they don't care if they finger an innocent person. I just wish RM had been more upfront in the beginning. And then, maybe he's guilty. Who knows!

They have nothing on him and can't get him to confess, regardless of how hard they try or how many hours they interrogate him. He sure looks innocent at this point, a lot more so than the McCann's.

Sorry if it is confusing....scroll down (look for page numbers in the lower left corner of the pages) and look for the poem titled "No Going Back"...there are pages missing but you should be able to see that poem.

I would post it but there are copyright "issues". Let me know if you can't find it....

I don't know what to think....divine intervention? A message? I am the always cautious and try to examine all sides....I tell my kids that I do not believe in ghosts, cuz I have never seen one, but....I read the psychic blogs but always with a sceptical stance...I try to glean something....

Could it be part of some kind of conspiracy?....I am even more hesitant to go there cuz that scares the s**t out of me....

Wonder if he altered his PDF file with all the interest in it, Page 26 wasn't available just now about 10:15pm EST. Pages 13-15 are missing, and 18-53 are missing.

Maybe his dog died in November and he wrote a tribute?

I didn't get the connection till I read the mirror site thread, now I understand a little bit. Hadn't caught before where Mr. McCann had gone to college. Is Glasgow a really small school, or did they share the same classes or something? When I was in college, I didn't know anyone else.. not even the people in my courses.
