I am not pro McCann, I am pro Madeleine being alive and pro proper policing.

If the Scotland Yard and the New PJ teams come out with charging McCanns with a crime I'd be surprised but I'd clap my hands to them..

I am not hoping for that.. I am hoping with all my heart that they will find Madeleine. Alive!

I, too, hope for that, but suspect that the only way she will be found alive, is if the gypsies actually are the ones who took her, because they'd have no good reason to kill her. I dearly hope that I am wrong about her fate-would be glad to eat some crow!

Speaking of crime watch, the recent one which aired in the UK. The actor that played beach man, looked a lot like GM to me.

I like to keep an open mind about the truth to what happened, but it made me think did they do that on purpose, a kind of subtle way of saying we know who did it. ?

Funny you are saying this.. I grew up in Mediterranean.. as I child I was always told by so many people when they saw me to be careful because I was blond, the gypsies would steal me..

And I had gipsy women visiting our house, now used as a holiday home for my family.. they just come in and sit at you kitchen table and you cannot really get rid of them.. I took me hours to ask a gypsy woman to leave.. she was asking for my ring.. she said I would really get a bad luck if I don't give her my gold ring )

You have to give them something.. otherwise they won't leave.. and yes.. they do ask you about the children, how many children you have, how many children your neighbours have.. all during your attempts to ask them to leave..

I've always had the impression that the twins were two when this happened. Yet one of Kate's early helpers/nannies stated that they were born in February 2006. Another friend remarked that they were about 6 months old in September 2006. If those are accurate, then the twins were only about 14-15 months old when Madeleine disappeared. Not that it matters, but leaving one-year-old babies alone seems even worse.

The twins were already 2 yo. Madelaine was a few days to go until her 4th birthday.

We don't have that in London either although lots of Gypsies came from Easter Europe and the police is sometimes having problems with some of them.. but in a small sea side towns you do get visitors like that.. Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Bosnia etc.. they have completely different laws and the completely separated communities..

Mind you, they don't have their own country, which they should, like everyone else.

Another is Joana Cipriano, whose mother and uncle are accused and convicted of her murder although her body has never been found. They (Leonor and Joao Cipriani) are in prison until about 2020.

I think Leonor is innocent of the charges, but the PJ, with Gonçales Amaral in charge beat a confession out of her. She said at the trial that she didn't remember confessing, but had been questioned for about 48 hours with 2 hours sleep in there. The problem in Europe is that their borders are open but their police forces don't really work in any kind of coordination.

At least they did not work at the time Madeleine disappeared.

I remember a report that Madeleine could be in ex Russian country of Estonia in matter of 7 hours without any border control all the way from Portugal to Estonia.

Yet police in Estonia ( just an example) would never know at that time that sihe might be a missing child.

The McCanns addressed this issue. Called for a wider Police coordination within Europe.. not sure what came out of that.. i.e if anything has changed in past 6 years..

Actually the PJ already knew about the sightings by Smith. Just as Amaral was going to bring back Mr Smith to Portugal he was CARTER RUCKED and thrown off the case lol.

It was because the PJ knew about the Smith case that Exon went to Ireland to talk to the Smiths.

I knew about it way back in 2007/8 my only concern was that Smith thought it was GM. Then when Amaral went, the sighting went, and I have written this before ..... over 2 weeks before the news in Telegraph, that some how I believe the sighting of the SMITHS...was CARTER RUCKED, well i was right lol......

I thought it was Brian Kennedy who went to Ireland in November, 2007 to talk to the Smiths.

I read somewhere that the worse age for a child is between 3 and 4. Many are harmed around that age. Quite odd stat, but then after reading it nearly every child seemed to be around that age.

so many children are killed by their parents its horrible. A lot say they have been abducted, it seems to be one of the most commonest excuses...

Sadly and I hate to say it, most children taken for sexual activity by pedophiles/sex offenders are usually murdered...

IMO one of the reasons that 3-4yo children are murdered after they have been "pimped out' to elite pedophiles by their parents or their parents sexually abused them for years or sold photos of them to pedophiles, is that they might talk when they start school. Madeleine was booked in to start school in July/August, 2007, so if this had happened to her, the parents could think that she might tell her teacher especially if she was beginning to be unco-operative and complaining about it. Some of Maddie's photos seem to be suspicious especially the ones where she had professional makeup on with blue eye shadow applied perfectly plus the one where she is lying down seductively. I posted about this earlier together with the photos.

There's that rumour or there's the truth, per the PJ's archiving report -

When the GNR officers arrived on location, several people had already touched the window and entered Madeleine's and her siblings' bedroom, and later on, when the PJ arrived at the apartment to collect traces, the space had already been rummaged through and contaminated due to the entrance of all of those people and to the fact that everything had been touched, thus rendering inviable, right away, the collection of important elements for the investigation.

In the drama of the moment, nobody – parents, friends of the parents, resort management and personnel – was cold and lucid enough to preserve the crime scene, preventing that rummaging and the consequent contamination of traces from happening, while it is common knowledge that it is any person's responsibility to preserve crime scenes – apart from a legal demand: article 171 number 2 of the Penal Process Code – thus avoiding that traces can be erased or altered, therefore the collectable evidence had already lost much of its indicative value. Hence the lack of evidential elements that were collected during that initial phase, so much so that the only latent fingerprints that were collected, with the number of elements that are necessary to perform a positive identification, were individualised as belonging to the missing child's mother and to a GNR officer (pages 885 and 1520), thus immediately rendering the collection of important data for the investigation inviable.

It was only when members of the Polícia Judiciária arrived, at around 0.10 a.m., following a request for their presence, that measures were taken to make the collection of residues and the preservation of the event’s location possible.

That's what happened to the Crime Scene. The PJ had nothing to do with it being contaminated. That was already sorted by Team McCann before LE was even called.

BTW, the ONLY person who was convinced it was a "crime" from the get-go was Kate. Kate the doctor who knows all about contaminating scenes. She was a GP, GP's are largely responsible for reporting deaths at home and KNOW the requirements about preserving potential crime scenes.

So why is it the PJ's fault?

The GNR who arrived at the scene assumed it was simply a child wandering off, as children in PDL did not get snatched from their beds. Yes it was the mother who cried ABDUCTION, but the GNR were confused as there was no forced entry found. This is ALL in the files as true.

However when they arrived like you said the scene had been totally disrupted......

Obviously the McCanns and friends dont watch CSI....

IF my first thought was abduction I would have totally made sure everyone kept out of the apartment.
