What's been happening since the last session of the libel trial?

Crimewatch where Tanner's sighting was dismissed as he was an innocent father and three names of the Tapas9 were not mentioned

Top level meetings (in secret) with SY/PJ, Home Secretary and Fund raiser in chief 'commenting' PJ 'find' dead 'abductor'

Surpressed 'e-fits' RB/AC 'trial' (no front page mentions in red tops)


It feels to me that there could have been a meeting' between the top PJ/SY to 'divy up' the lost findings. You look for an abductor and we will look for a dead body. But the PJ got it in one - a DEAD ABDUCTOR to justify the fact that they are now searching for the body as they have to keep the poor McCanns onside as they are not suspects.

The work was divided up this way:

1. Andy Redwood would get tours around Europe with former arguidos promoting Smithman to promote the abductor story.

2. PJ would 'find' TractorMan, the dead paedo 'kidnapper' who failed to leave a ransom note but used to be a thief.

Surely this latest 'find' means that the McCannCops/ Bernies 'elites' have to be disbanded now.

After all, THERE IS NO ONE TO FIND NOW because TractorMan did it.
The parents are described as "tortured". It's very ODD that BOTH T May and BHH 'used' the words, 'tortured' and 'torture' on the same day last week, having NOT said a word about the case for years.

IMO I certainly wouldn't trust doctors that claimed they had one toothbrush for their three children to share... So I can fully imagine them handing over clothing from another child.

Explains why he was talking on the phone, probably getting directions to the exact location of the apartment where the body lay.

His phone was tracked to the hotel that night.

As a local, he must have known where to bury a body.

Would the door have been locked if opened from the inside? I've been in apartments when you could just open them when in the room, but were locked if tried from the outside. Maybe, an abductor went in through the patio doors and then out of the door with Madeleine.

Yes, I think these doors worked that way.. but I also thought he opened the window to mask the fact that he got the key..

The patio doors were left open for the checkings. Why would he go out the window if he could escape a lot easier through the door?

IMO this is outrageous!

Did you know that the man who kidnapped the child is dead? Well, so they say in one Portuguese tabloid. What says the British Press?

1. Daily Mirror:

Maddie suspect ‘died in crash four years ago’”

Top use of inverted commas, there.
He was a suspect. Fact.
But he only might have died.

2. Daily Star:

Facts galore.
The man was “Maddie’s Snatcher”.
And he is dead.
He was killed by a tractor.

3. The Sun:

The news “twist” is that the Portuguese police – the ones the Sun has repeatedly called bungling and idiotic – say a dead man might have kidnapped the child to exact a terrible revenge for having been sacked.

4. Irish Indy:

The new line of inquiry focuses on a former employee of the Ocean Club, the complex in the Algarve where the child’s family were staying when she disappeared more than six years ago. The unnamed man, who died aged 40 in a tractor accident in 2009, may have been motivated by revenge after being sacked by the hotel resort, Portugal’s ‘Correio da Manha’ newspaper said, citing police sources.

Estelle, could you perhaps start a new thread for all the news you're posting? While they're interesting and I didn't know about some of them, it's making discussion difficult because it's harder to keep up with the discussion posts.

I think they mean the guy standing by the slide or whatever that playset is, not the guy talking to the little kids in front.

No you make good points, its just a theory like anyones, but for me if it was an abduction someone like a maintenance man will have all the access they want, and would know where to hide someone.

The dogs indicating to the apartment above is in the files. It was totally DISMISSED on most forums as there was rotten food found in the fridge so of course the highly trained dogs were smelling that.

BUT i have always found this very interesting. Where do you hide a child in full view.

YOu move to an empty apartment. At the time no one was thinking it was abduction they thought the child had wondered off....

I don't think a maintenance man would be impossible, I never said that... what I said is it doesn't fit neatly with the theory some people have that Madeleine was led away on foot by her abductor.

I wonder which maintenance people would have access to the keys, IMO it wouldn't be just anyone - it would have to be someone who was on duty and whose job required them to have keys to the houses OR who had easy access to keys.

I think LE cleared the workers though.

I was bringing it up because some people were talking about TractorGuy, well, if he did it I think it would be important to know how he got his hands on keys (there was no sign of forced entry as far as I know other than the open window). As I said he would have had to have copied the keys with some advance before having to turn them in, or having stolen them. :twocents:

Haden, good spotting. On the old forums, we always wanted to know who this man was. I think he was a friend of Robert Murat.

But now with what we've been told lately, it almost looks as if he has been planted there to look suspicious for the photo. Will this photo soon be released in the media with this heading?

The patio doors were left unlocked!! Why are keys even being discussed? If she was abducted, he/she had no problem entering the apartment. That's why it made no sense that he/she left through the window. Why bother with a window?

The guy playing with the kids is GM. The other guy doesn't look black to me. Not sure why that's even being discussed. He looks like a tourist watching Gerry play with his kids.
