I was reading the transcript of the Panorama documentary and noticed this....

Gerry McCann says he went just after 9pm to chek on the children. He says that their bedroom door was more open than usual so he goes in.

hmmm... :waitasec: more than usual - meaning - ?? - more than two or three times have done this - left the kids in the room - or would that be 4 or 5 times... ??

He tries to make himself out to be alert and caring, when a parent who was really checking on the children would have (at the very least) gone in and visually checked every single time, regardless of the door position.

quite true Texana!! I believe they did this EVERY night of their vacation - meaning - left their children in the room by themselves...
and then - can't remember 'who' it was that checked on their kids at 9:30pm - and didn't even bother to L@@K to see if Maddie was there... :waitasec:

However, there is another article from the same newspaper that mentions the Mc's...from the father of that poor teenage boy murdered 15 years ago.


Worryingly, Neville sees dangerous signs that Kate and Gerry McCann (the parents of missing Madeleine) are careering down the same dangerous road that he and Doreen did.
"I can see the same desperation on their faces - they are actually going through Hell," says Neville. "And I can see the tell-tale signs of a split. When they walk together you can see. It's as if she is lagging a bit behind, as though she doesn't want to be doing that [public campaigning]. "It's the body language - it's saying pain and anguish and desperation, and maybe not supporting each other at the same time. Their whole lifestyle is a strain and it's taken its toll. I really hope I'm wrong, but 99 per cent of couples who suffer trauma like this split up."

Wouldn't surprise me one little bit if they split, don't think they were a happy couple to begin with but they will stay together until they have milked poor little Madeleine's situation to the fullest!

Any split will be years down the line after all alone one or both could be a loose cannon!

Indeed it is liabellous & with PJ threatening to sue CM one would think the Mail would have known better!

Barnaby - what did you think of this thread? I kinda thought it was over the top .

Maddie was not Maddie, Gerry married before (nothing unusual about that), neither Kate or Gerry were Maddie's parents, and that this was all premeditated. Also that Maddie was still alive and due to show up at any moment. Weird, in my opinion.

This could be true. The information in the article was very different from the information that Interested Woman posted about Joane case.

The article was very pro-McCann on the surface. When reading through it though, while it never said anything directly, it did seem to be implying a "yeah right" kind of attitude. It was definitely against the Portugese LE and I did not sense any underlying tone about that......

Hi Salem,

Truthfully don't know what to think of it. A lot I feel is pretty far fetched but you have to admit there are so many strange aspects to this case, nothing would surprise me anymore.

There are certainly a lot of questions to be answered about a lot of photographs that just don't look right!

From day 1 when Kate shouted "They've taken her" I asked who were "they"? At that point I thought that the kidnapping was a set up for money! Then wheels in motion spun so fast to get websites set up etc. one could have believed that all was pre-planned!

Through this whole thing I have had the occasional thought that she is not dead, that they know she is safe & well, hence the lack of obvious grief!

Later I began to think of the possibility that she was dead & of course we had the dogs & the forensics so most of me believes that she is dead, sadly!

With all the high powered involvement one could also believe that there is some sort of a plot by Government, planned abduction to highlight the need for alert system. That G&K were chosen because of connections. The theories are endless but one thing is sure about this case there is nothing straighforward about it & many many secrets to be revealed if ever!
There are just so many possibilities to consider

She is appalled & saddened by how dark that road by the apartment is & so saddened for those poor kids left alone there, she will be reporting more tomorrow if anyone wishes to follow!

Yes this article will be immortalised despite being taken off the website so hopefully PJ can use it to sue the a** off McCann team for libel!
