How weird April. I read this before you posted the earlier link and was going to post the link myself, but you beat me too it. Then when I clicked your link, the story was gone. That was sometime this afternoon. And now, when I click the link, the story is back (it is night time now). Strange. Oh well, if it disappears again, there is a copy at the McCann family site on the link posted above.

eta - Retracted part of my previous statement. After rereading her posts, it appears that April has always been very fond of this newspaper.

IW, I'm glad the link now works for you.

As for me being "fond" of the newspaper. Not true!!
I'm not "fond" of "any" tabloid newspaper.
They 'all' put circulation/profit before truth. IMO

That doesn't mean there's no truth in them!! Some I believe, some I don't:waitasec: ...As i'm sure you do.
And at least they are not blogs !!

Thought I would share this. The woman who wrote this article should be ashamed of herself. I can't tell you how angry it makes me that some people don't have the guts to speak up for children.:furious: :furious:

Maybe because these are her "friends" but if that is the case, than it is even more reason to speak up.

Clarence Mitchell has a nice job with a good salary, working as a spokesman of a couple of suspects of the disappearance of a little child, almost one year ago. Finding Madeleine McCann, dead or alive, would mean the end of his job.

A source of Portimão's court said to the 24 Horas that the public prosecutor Magalhães e Menezes that conducts the enquiry is already working in the accusation against the McCanns and that it will be made public "shortly".

I hope I am wrong Colomom but I read that to mean that he was working on the accusation of neglect, do you think it is something else?

I think you are right Barnaby - its the neglect angle. Also, it the article said it would not happen until July - so there was a bit of a contradiction. The accusation will be made "public shortly" and then maybe the trial will take place in July?

I hope the end is near Colomom, but I doubt it. :waitasec:
Even if the PJ remove the McCanns arguedo status at some point, they will do everything they can, for as long as they can to stop them talking,
and will keep them gagged as witnesses IMO.

I agree that the end is near. I think they have enough evidence on the McCanns & Tapas group but because of the high profile of this case, they will dot all the i's & cross all the t's!

Barnaby - what did you think of this thread? I kinda thought it was over the top .

Maddie was not Maddie, Gerry married before (nothing unusual about that), neither Kate or Gerry were Maddie's parents, and that this was all premeditated. Also that Maddie was still alive and due to show up at any moment. Weird, in my opinion.

:crazy: Just to let you know a little background of the person starting that thread. While the Madeleine Mirror forums were going she posted under the name of insider1. SHE claims to work in NY for the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops). A few days later said she was in the UK. When questioned about her obvious discrepancy she then said she was VISITING relatives in the UK for a few months (or something like that...I'd love a job that gives months of vacation time). She first claimed to have inside information that Madeline was a clone ...but not of Kate or Gerry, but of a descendant of Jesus Christ, and that Gerry did not follow the "Clone rules" so "They", (the clone makers) took her away. First she said Madeleine was dead, then alive, (?) According to this person, the McCanns trip to Portugal was planned, so that she would be snatched there, and knowing that the PJ had very little experience with child abductions, they could spin it thus Kate and Gerry could then profit off of the ordeal...and all of the Tapas group knew she was going to be snatched... Oh, and Jane Tanners child is also a clone. :waitasec: (But she wasn't taken for some odd reason). She of course then proceeds to say that if she reveled any of her sources, or her job title or any thing that could validate anything she says she would be killed...:boohoo:

Anyway, even though it is very entertaining to read her ramblings, just remember that she appears (okay...IS) a few bricks short of a load. IMHO she makes up stuff for attention and for shock value.
