I don't know if it means anything but this is the first time I post about this case even if I am following it daily.

Hope I will make some sense.

1.I think the Mccanns are hiding a lot of things,so are at least 2 of the Tapas.
2.I trust cadaver dogs.
3.Even if cleared I still have my doubts regarding Murat's involvement in all this.
4.Metodo3 and the Pj are a bad joke
5.Unfortunately I believe Maddie is no longer with us and she will probably never be found.


I was so sure once that her parents are guilty,not so sure anymore after seeing what went on behind the scenes(Pj).
I can't exclude the kidnapping theory anymore.

There has been so much misinformation put out in this case that it's not surprising that your not sure.
Hopefully the truth will out.

April, what are your thoughts (if you don't mind sharing them) with regards to the sketch of the couple that were with the little girl in the Dutch shop and its incredible resemblance to the Mc Canns.

The caption says Gerry wrote this "shortly after the kidnap". So was shortly after the kidnap 1 hour, 1 day, or 1 week? If we knew the answer to that, it would be yet another barefaced lie Tanner has been caught in.

If I were to say shorty after, I would mean within the hour, but then again, I think a lot different than the McCanns and fans.

That article is so disheartening, April! It doesn't look like they even tried to look for Madeleine. LE wanted a quick fix to the situation. They didn't want to find a little girl. They wanted a conviction!

So, Metodo3 is out and a new group of international investigators is in! I hope they do a better job!

Why? What would it accomplish? The PJ would have been heroes if they had found Madeleine at any point, (even now) in the investigation. Why do you think they had this purpose driven desire to convict the McCanns from the first minutes of the case? What did the McCanns ever do to the PJ for the PJ to hate them so? :waitasec: I don't get it. I don't get your reasoning. No matter how many mistakes the PJ made in your oppenion, why would they have not looked for Madeleine? Look at how many sick parents kill their children. The PJ HAD to question them.

I'm sure the McCanns didn't like being questioned, (who would?) and they did start bad mouthing the PJ almost immediately. That could have ticked the PJ off, but don't you think a Police force is used to being bad mouthed by disgruntled suspects? You think the Mccanns grips turned the whole case into a vendetta?

I find it particularly strange that the McCanns are not in this photograph. All the others have their children with them at tea, surely their kids were in the kids club/creche as well? So how come they didn't pick them up all at the same time & go for tea together?

I thought the same thing as well Barnaby. According to their (K&G) timeline, they had lunch at the apt. on that day. Why away from their beloved friends? What were they up too? Kate still mad that Gerry was not paying attention to her?

When I read that, I was quite surprised. How long have they been married? It sounds quite immature to me.

I don't believe the UK or US would have treated the McCanns so badly, nor would they have been named arguidos/suspects without some evidence.

I think that depends on their wealth and connections....Kevin Fox and David Dwolaby (sp?) were both convicted of the abductions of their daughters with little forensic evidence.

See post 15 by Alpine Aster. I tried to post both these pics but couldn't so here they are together. Gerry's story with diagram from the Panorama programme & the drawing that tanner gave the PJ. Someone is lying & on this ocassion I don't think it is Gerry as Wilkins could contradict!

5:30 to 6:00 pm McCanns pick up their children from the crèche.

6:30 McCanns take Madeleine out for a snack.

7:30 (approx) Madeleine and the twins go to bed.

At 6 Gerry McCann has his third tennis lesson of the day so he leaves the flat. He says as a family they talked about bringing the children back out to play in the area by the courts.

Madeleine, Sean and Amelie were picked up by their parents at 6pm.

At 6.30 Gerry McCann asks a friend, David Payne, to pop in on Kate to see if the children are coming down (to the tennis courts). He goes to the flat, he says all is well, but the children are too tired and are already in their pyjamas.

The first identified 'window of opportunity' begins at 6.30pm when Mr McCann was on the tennis court and his wife was alone in the apartment with Madeleine and two-year-old twins Sean and Amelie.

At 6.40pm one of the McCanns' friends, David Payne, went to their apartment and saw Mrs McCann playing happily with the children.



First one says that at 6.30 McCanns take kids out for a snack yet second one says gerry was playing tennis at 6.30 & asked Payne to look in on Kate & the kids. At 6.40 he saw her playing with the kids in the apartment in their pyjamas!
Furthermore if Payne was still in the beach restaurant at 6pm, with the others he got the finished up quickly didn't he to get back to ocean Club before 6.30pm.


& another thing is it normal practice to put kids in pyjamas before they have their baths? I don't think so, I sure never did it

The time line cannot have been done as little as an hour after after Kate raised the alarm for one clear fact: Jane Tanner said only she saw a man carrying a bundle. Hence the name, "Bundleman." The description of the man as carrying the child did not come out until later, reportedly with the use of hypnotherapy. I'm not saying that Jane didn't see what she said, only that "man carrying child" could not have been by Gerry based on Jane's account until, by my recollections, at least two weeks and maybe even a month after Maddie disappeared.

I also remember very clearly that interview where Kate in response to how the situation was affecting their marriage, that it had made them stronger and "we don't row, we've never rowed."

Even then, that came across as just ludicrous. There are people I've met who could say things like that--very few--and none of them came across with the kind of personalities as Kate and Gerry. None of those women were career women along the lines of Kate, either--

And what's wrong with "rowing" now and then? What would have been so bad with saying "We do have the occasional disagreement but we always work it out in the end?" I certainly wouldn't have thought that a negative statement, rather than an honest one.

But instead, Kate chose to assert "we've never rowed" when they had such a disagreement that she chose to sleep in the next room. Did she not consider this a true couple's fight because Gerry didn't notice where she slept or by implication, how upset she was?

That's the kind of disingenuous truth stretching I find abhorrent. You don't say the truth and take the consequences, you consider it not an outright lie, but obviously, it is a direct falsehood.

"We never row" can't be reconciled with "I was so upset I slept in the children's room."

BINGO! You're a genius Barnaby! I have read that timeline a 100 times and missed that every time. Both documentaries were agreed to and approved by the McCanns.

Why would Kate put their pajamas on them, then take them off to bath them, then put them back on? :waitasec: Another Lie. :furious:

I can see losing track of time/getting times mixed up while on vacation, trust me, I just got back from vacation and we lost track of time constantly...that is not the issue. The issue is Payne saying when he looked in on them, they were ready for bed, and Gerry saying when he got home he helped get them ready for bed. One of them is lying. Why?

I know they were suspected but were they ever made official suspects, and referred to as such, by LE?? The original question came up because of this question: "What police force in the world would then open up their investigation to their prime suspects?" I should not have used the word "considered", I should have said "named".

There is a difference between the Boulder PD looking sideways at the Ramseys and the PJ naming the McCanns arguidos.
