Right! After his conviction for the diesel theft (november/december 2006?) for a few weeks to a "girlfriend" in Dresden, then to Augsburg (AB?) and then back to Portugal.

So a possible Dresden connection could have been established shortly before MM's disappearance...

Not suggesting AB is involved but with all this talk of computers and DWeb perhaps CB had use of AB's computer........JMO

The trial of AV in the Munster is case currently being heard in the courts. 39 suspects in the abuse case have been identified.

Might also explain HCW's comments about there being no more developments on the MM case until the new year. If some of the evidence relates to information found during the Munster (or related) investigations, perhaps they need to wait for those other trials to conclude first.

The data dogs mentioned earlier, the allotment searches...maybe they are looking for a very specific horde of files. Containing specific crimes/victims. A horde that the multiple suspects have had access to or hsve grassed about to LE as a result of these investigations. Like a treasure trove. And the allotment storage is a MO of the secrets keeper.

Perhaps this is the person previously referred to as having provided useful information in exchange for a possible reduced sentence for his own crimes. Him, or one of the other suspects involved in the Dresden/Munster cases.
Might this by why BKA seem to have evidence that they can't directly use against CB until/unless it is corroborated by other sources?
What are the German rules about using evidence obtained as part of a plea bargain - is this admissible in court, or can LE only use it as 'clues' to aid their further investigations?

However, both articles are wrong stating that CB was still living in PDL, the Panorama link even mentions the Finca/farmhouse. As we know he hadn't lived there since early 2006, maybe even late 2005.

Makes it difficult what to believe whether it was a friend or former girlfriend in Dresden.
