It could be that the reason CB asked this was that perhaps the other person did not reply fast enough?

Is the photo anything to go by? this appears to be a Skype chat. Spiegel TV has this chat, so it appears to be the same with panikspatz,

now, other chat excerpts I have seen elsewhere are quite different. this one is about whether they have new films to share. CB asks the chat partner whether he has any new films to share, answer is no, and CB says that anyways it is quite dangerous sending around films like this, and then chat partner agrees, and then CB appears to be talking about catching a little one, to which the reply of ps, is and this is not dangerous?, with the reply we all know of 'no, if the evidence is destroyed afterwards'. there must be parts missing.
what interested me is the end of chat - it appears that the chat partner could have been frightened, or that CB goes on later to say he has already done this and he has the film (?). jmo

Hard to explain because both is correct. Maybe i would describe the phrase with "deterrent not wanting to do something anymore", if you understand.

The optimist in me feels like the timer is running out for CB.
Could HCW have collaborated with BILD as part of his media strategy and now articles are being released pre charge?
I also wonder if MWT has been pressurised to pull his doc?

Getting a bit ridiculous now, just wish these documentaries would air sooner rather than later to put the tabloid speculation and their interpretations of what was found to rest. Each day a new story contradicting the one from the day before. Or sometimes even the headline contradicting the article itself.

You've got HCW saying they have enough to charge over MM, and in their investigations have found "nothing" to clear CB of guilt. Yet he apparently has an army of witnesses lining up to give him alibis... where have they been for the last 20 months, under a rock? I somehow doubt the reality is anything close to what the tabs are making out.

I think i mentioned before that around 10 years ago, there was one of those stories about mystery sickos hanging around the place that police had failed to question - attributed to "brighton mum"

Then a few months later - a very similar story ran, with the exact same quote now attributed to KM

I've long suspected that the usual suspects at the tabs have only 2 or 3 sources, and recycle nonsense with invented sources to disguise the actual source.

Note on Indiz: how do you translate Indiz?- is this circumstantial evidence or just indications? I searched a little bit about how the word Indiz is used in legal contexts: "Umstand, der mit Wahrscheinlichkeit auf einen bestimmten Sachverhalt, vor allem auf die Täterschaft einer bestimmten Person schließen lässt; be- oder entlastender Umstand. z.B. ein ausreichendes Indiz" would it be better to translate it thus as clues? something leading one to believe a person is the perpetrator?
