I think in the case of the Sun and the multiple alibis, the source must be someone from the environment of CB's defence lawyers, or even FF himself.
It doesn't really matter.
The sourcing is so vague as to be totally unreliable.

that's v interesting. also what is interesting is the sentences before the last one - "Sie sprechen von einer Vielzahl an Beweisen und Indizien. Welche wird die Öffentlichkeit wohl bald erfahren." They [BKA] speak about a multitude of evidence/proof and indications/clues. Which ones the public will soon find out"
Note on Indiz: how do you translate Indiz?- is this circumstantial evidence or just indications? I searched a little bit about how the word Indiz is used in legal contexts: "Umstand, der mit Wahrscheinlichkeit auf einen bestimmten Sachverhalt, vor allem auf die Täterschaft einer bestimmten Person schließen lässt; be- oder entlastender Umstand. z.B. ein ausreichendes Indiz" would it be better to translate it thus as clues? something leading one to believe a person is the perpetrator?

Reports back in 2014 prior to OG travelling to Luz had imminent arrest's, only there wasn't.Because of it's last sentence.
"Die Anklageerhebung steht kurz bevor."
Means that the indictment is imminant. We'll see...![]()
Noted but then there was no public appeal with one specified suspectReports back in 2014 prior to OG travelling to Luz had imminent arrest's, only there wasn't.
so was he in the habit of burying sticks??According to Euronews, the allotment-raid in hannover may have brought up more incriminating material.
"In the suspect's allotment near Hannover, where Maddie's body was suspected, the police apparently found memory sticks with child pornographic material."
It could explain the numbers from 8.000 files up to the 20.000 files, JC referred to.

they expected MM's body to be there? that's strange... (it appears also in articles at the time they searched it...)

I think it was the men that robbed apartment s,. As when phone logs was checked it linked these men to being in the area at the time, I'm sure you would easy find it if you google it
Media makes up a lot of things. I would say, that the prosecutors were expecting to find any kind of incriminating material in a case, that is able to bring much more up to the surface than just the whereabout of the poor little missing girl.
It seems highly doubtful they would have expected her to be there.
He didn't even have the allotment at the time she went missing.
I think the speculation about them looking for a body came mainly from the Press at the time. HCW played it all down shortly afterwards. It seems highly doubtful they would have expected her to be there.

The prosecutor described as "speculative" a recent two-day dig at Christian B's former home outside Hanover, saying: "We are checking everywhere he lived and we know from his past that he liked to bury things like the USB computer sticks that were found in a previous investigation.
"I can't tell you what we found."

I'm not sure they actually did search the river at all. There was a lot of speculative comments made on The Sun 'live' blog back when that search was going on and I remember the comment about the divers being 'spotted'. But looking back on it, there's no proof that it had anything to do with the Hannover allotment search (or that it even happened). It was miles away from the dig site in Seelze where some unnamed locals allegedly spotted some divers on the river. That's it! The Sun never bothered to explain how it is they "believed" they were connected to the dig. As far as I recall The Sun were the only paper that reported on it.They searched the nearby river using divers! For 10 year old hardware?
