The mobile phone companies were unable to give data with that detail (Tapas Bar, 5A, etc). Only which mast was activated, and there was very few masts in PdL, and surroundings.

If there were a lot of masts, like in a big city with a mast every 100 meters or so, the precision would be much better.

Now we have GPS in the mobile phones, but in 2007, unfortunately, we did not have that type of data.

I’m not certain but I think she is saying that because the PJ asked for very specific locations, OG and the BKA have taken that to mean that the calls were very close in proximity to these specific co-ordinates - perhaps?

Mora then 2-3 km another Vodaphone mast would activated. So we have a zone of 2-3 km around 5A.

Yes.
But, of course, a rare event, like the next mast was not operating at the time because it was under maintenance, may widen the zone ... But it would be a very rare event.

Think it would depend on the range of a particular mast. 2-3 Km in PDL would cover most of the town and some surrounding countryside. If a call was simultaneously picked up by a different mast with a longer range, then the area can possibly be reduced - think Venn diagram

2. Were there witnesses, pictures, or videos, showing CB in the zone, say, between 19:30 and 22:30? Anyone saw CB?

So if at this stage he doesn’t know 1 and no one has come forward re 2, the phone call is unhelpful so far as a conviction is concerned?

Hmmm, not sure where though, CB reckons he was with a girl, Wolters reckons CB has no alibi, thing is Wolters/BKS or whomever needs to prove CB was there .But there again where , Wolters has never said he believes the suspect took Madeleine out of 5a.

Some very interesting and evasive responses to MWT's questions regarding forensic evidence around 50 mins :

MWT: "Have you forensically examined that vehicle and is there a connection to Madeleine to that vehicle and Christian B?"

HCW: "We have no forensic evidence that Madeleine is dead. We have no other results, I don't know where the body is right now, if we knew, we would have found it"

MWT: "So just to be clear, you don't have forensic evidence which links Christian B to Madeleine having been murdered"

....Is it me or is HCW deliberately avoiding answering the question of whether they have other forensic evidence linking CB and MM?

But if he had forensic evidence linking CB and MM , he also says they have concrete evidence that CB killed MM then the two would make the case, surely.

Especially if traces of MM’s pyjamas had been found in or on any of CB’s possessions.

HCW talks about clothes / pyjamas at about 3 mins in this link from Sep.2020 , so any finding of such traces would have to be after this … unless of course HCW choosing not to reveal such info in the interview … or traces have indeed been found more recently .

I can’t see the link but I wasn’t saying HCW had the pyjamas, it’s mentioned up thread.
