I found this from my notes re. the fb profile Christian Brückner and the picture of the girl.

IMO, the girl resembles missing Debbie Sassen from Düsseldorf. Red was her favourite colour. She went missing after her swimming lesson and her sports bag was never found. CB was 19 at the time. The red swimsuit found in his Allegro at the warehouse in Neuwegersleben, could be Debbie’s? My opinion only.

Actually, he didn't. There was a lot of sensationalist claims in the Press that indicated he was claiming he was with her at the time, but if you listen to what he actually wrote to MWT, it's not actually what he said.

He said he "can't remember" if he met up with her on the 3rd, same as she apparently "can't remember" either. Convenient. He also claimed he didn't use to meet up with her until quite late, around midnight, so even if he was with her on the 3rd, it would not have been during the time frame that MM disappeared.

ALE cannot recall where exactly she was the night MM disappeared, that is why HCW said CB has no alibi, IMO.
I believe BKA/HCW gave up with MM's case, and they will focus in the other crimes, and that they think that the only way to solve MM's crime is with a confession of CB. All this also my opinion.
I expect they continue searching for new evidence on MM's case.

I don't think the dates would add up ? As in why post a picture in that year on FB, when she went missing in 1996 ?

MWT is absurdly unreliable. See his amazing work on the Pistorius case, or recently on Nicola Bulley.

I really think it is not worthwhile trying to gauge what witnesses will and won't testify to unless you have at least an on the record quote - ideally on video.

Pistorius also told MWT he was innocent and MWT believed him.

It was very clear in his 'documentary' on that case, that he had not followed the trial in any great detail. The guy is making product for TV. I think he took the contrarian angle because that is what was best for his product.

He definitely made a big mistake with the Pistorious interview. But on the other hand HCW did sit down with him last year. I think he's calmed down somewhat since his earlier sensational TV work

My opinion too. They are trying to charge him with the other cases and let him "despair" in prison.

I think he used the 17 year old for alibi purposes.

He well could've made sure she was "asleep" while he went on his mission.... in which case she wouldn't have even known if he was on the sick prowl.

And again, if she thought she was having a fling and he seemed present and attentive, no way could she have a 60th sense that he was a efficient kidnapper, able to slink into a hotel room, swipe a baby, and nary be missed.
