Precisely. If you were wanting to intimidate with a pistol, you'd go to the trouble of obtaining a realistic imitation firearm or a blank firer, if not a real one.
Potentially much more frightening than something that wouldn't scare a mouse.

It would scare me to see someone carrying a pistol. I would definitely not check what type it was, just the sight of a pistol carried by someone freaks many people out.

As much as I dislike the thought of this dude waltzing out of jail, "preventive detention" postulated by petitioners is against all the laws and human rights.

Hi! I've been following this case for many years and wanted to get involved. Recently saw a video from The Sun with many police photos in it. I've seen some of these before but thought it could be worth compiling the photos them and posting them.

Summary of items found in CBs abandoned factory:
-Buried beneath a dead dog was a plastic bag with wallet containing 6 USB sticks and 2 memory cards.
-75 sets of toddler's swim suits found in CBs abandoned factory.
-Preschooler bikes and toys
-3 guns with ammunition, untraceable black market weapons.
-A mask (matches the outfit later described by Hazel Behan)
-A briefcase with pictures of young children and a list of phone number

I doubt it's blood, we'd have soon heard if it was suspected to be, more like a poorly processed photo.

I feel that if BKA had any trivial offences with which to charge him they would have already done so, though I suppose they may try and charge him with something at the last minutes as a psycolgical move to dash his expectation of release

Just normal police procedure to check out crimes of a similar nature - one doubts if there could be anything more similar than the disappearance without trace of two little girls in close proximity to each other.

Just as one of the first disciplines performed by Operation Grange was to check out crimes against children. Particularly those who had been attacked in their beds although, thankfully, none were abducted.

It would have had to be requested by the prosecutor at the time of the 2019 trial, or the judge in that case have reserved the option to add it on for public safety at a later stage. I looked but could not find evidence that it was requested at that time.

It *was* requested by the prosecutor in 2024, but of course became moot as he was not convicted.

JC disappeared without trace August 2004 and
MM disappeared without trace May 2007 from neighbouring villages in close proximity.

Not random. More serial. Two little girls vanished without trace in an area which was a hotbed for sexual predation.
Children were assaulted in their beds and at least one aggravated rape was committed.

In 2014 an appeal was made and the numbers of assaults were constantly updated. One has no idea what the final total was except it was shockingly substantial.

Regarding the guns- real, fake, ancient, unable to pass a shot regardless-

We’ve got adults (one assumes) here, myself included saying if someone showed me any gun I/we would be scared.

Let’s not forget CB’s focus is children. Who would without doubt be scared when faced with a gun- held by a stranger, at night, in an unfamiliar place.

75 swimsuits and various toys show his dedication to this sickness- plus three guns.

Whilst I think the petition is pointless in its end goal- any and all awareness should be raised of how scared we should be that someone like CB can be released.

If, and it’s only my opinion CB is linked to/ responsible for the linked articles referencing assults from 2004-2010 CB was still doing this after MM with all that presence, that’s brazen, but I think he’s capable and I think that’s part of the kick and compulsion.
If it wasn’t CB another perpetrator was also still feeling safe enough to continue doing this after MM. horrifying.

I guess when people see a photograph of a small & old gun they could mistakenly believe it isn’t very dangerous, therefore minimising things. It doesn’t take a gun with a big kick - large pistol, shotgun, semi automatic to do catastrophic damage. Scare factor too. Some even use plastic guns to scare others.

Okay, on closer inspection there is no blood on his face.

The red on his hand is some sort of a bandage or bandana.

Given he is wearing white and there are no bloodstains, I think we can rule out him just have murdered someone.

Tricky. This is a weirdo who is in to dressing up, harming children & whipping elderly ladies. Probably not blood, probably something weird that he gets a kick out of.

Yes - more would be concerned if he wasn’t the prime suspect in the MM case. Obvious reality.
IMO if he’s released there’s a woman & child out there who are destined for a horrendous ordeal.

Do you know what the purpose of the search was? Perhaps they wanted to tie CB to this place- farmhouse mentioned in one of his emails. He was also carrying a gun - perhaps it was one of those two they found. We just don't know what they already have and what they are looking for.
