Concentrate on 5a we know MM was in there, from Lowes report, No evidence GM or MM contributed to DNA result, so why not test for CB, of course it might already have been done (but Perlin in a report dated June 30 this year gives no indication of his tests being used) so what lab would of done it and we know from HCW no forensics, what indication is there that CB was in 5a, HCW has never claimed this.

Weak and incomplete DNA results which consisted of only a few unconfirmed DNA components were obtained from cellular material on the wet and dry swabs (14A & B} from the back of the sofa.

A weak and incomplete DNA result which showed indications of having originated from more than one person was obtained from cellular material on the dry swab (15A) from the back of the sofa.

A DNA result which appeared to have originated from at least three people and which appeared to have originated from at least two males who had contributed the majority of the DNA was obtained from cellular material obtained from the wet swab of the sofa (15B). in my opinion there is no evidence to support the view that Gerald McCann or Madeline McCann contributed DNA to this result. The DNA from this swab has not been subjected to LCN DNA profiling tests.

A weak incomplete DNA result which consisted of only a few unconfirmed DNA components was obtained from cellular material recovered from the edges of tile 2 286/2007-CRL(2) from the apartment floor. An attempt to obtain a DNA profile from any cellular material recovered from a further area on tile 2 and two areas on tile 3 (286/2007-CRL(3) were unsuccessful in that no profiles were obtained.

A weak incomplete DNA result which consisted of only two unconfirmed DNA components was obtained from cellular material recovered from the hem of one of the blue curtains 286A/2007-CRL(16(2)) from the apartment.

Because they are irrelevant. Simple as that. If these were samples collected by the PJ on the 3rd of May, (which I doubt they still exist) then we could possibly be having a legitimate discussion about it and urge and ask why these are not analysed. Jmo
If CB is brought to trial it will be based on sound evidence which can be directly connected to CB based on the cumulative effect of circumstantial evidence.
My opinion

The only potentially relevant forensic evidence imo is that which the PJ 1. Did not take (Madeleine: How the police ruined the forensic evidence in her bedroom ) and 2. The hairs that were collected. We have discussed these many times before. This about the new methods and the DNA evidence pertains to irrelevant DNA collected in August, and none is from the actual crime scene (ie the bedroom where MM was ) jmo

If two parents and their children might have left traces of their presence in accommodation they've occupied for a few days, it would hardly be surprising.

What would be interesting is if DNA from a male stranger were to be found. Even quite exciting were it to be proved to be DNA left behind by CB.

Problem being it was holiday accommodation which had been rented out before and after MM's disappearance to which CB might have had a legitimate presence.
FF would make short shrift of that in a trial.
My opinion
Snip
German paedophile C B was said to have carried out repair work at the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz before the three-year-old vanished from there in 2007.

Was it really? Or just that she was working in the BKA and was the same that had accused BKA of wiretapping CB's cell?
Yes, it was. FF is reportedly making a complaint about it. I keep mentioning that the BKA are strategically leaking info to the media to promote a narrative.

Yes, the dna I'm talking about is that collected from 5A - blood on the floor tiles, skirting boards, walls etc. I'd have thought it would be worth fresh, sophisticated testing with a view to seeing if anything CB turns up.
The 16 samples were collected from 5A not the car or key fob.

It’s a folding trigger revolver. Best bet is it’s made by J. B. Ronge in Belgium or Germany between 1880 and 1890. It’s intended use was to fend off wild animals ant short range. Its only purpose is as a collector’s item. Ammunition is not available for it and it’s unlikely it would work if it was. It could be purchased anywhere without a license or background check.

The 3 guns found at the box factory "working guns with ammunition".

It will if new dna tests are not carried out.

It does seem unusual that detectives would test soil from the Arade Dam 17 years after the fact but would not want to confirm if the victim bled at the abduction location. The latter could explain if MM underwent any trauma while being abducted or abused in 5A. Let’s remember that the other serious sexual offence CB has been convicted for involved DM being attacked in her home.

There is no logical reason that police conducting a thorough investigation would not want to use advanced DNA testing methods, even if they are not admissible in court. The tests should be done to inform decisions and rule alternatives out.

The production period for ammunition for that gun ran from 1860 to 1940.

Did the report say the ammunition was live? Did it say that the guns could fire live ammunition? Or was it that there were antique bullets with an antique gun where the trigger still clicks the hammer?

The report is based on information officially leaked by the prosecutors - there can be no other way it came into the public domain. The question to ask is why they are trying to maintain the image of CB as a terrible dangerous offender when everyone already knows that.

IMO, it’s a sign of a strategy aimed at overcoming weak evidence.

BBM.

So many questions.

A "working gun" generally refers to a fully functioning firearm capable of firing ammunition.
ie. It either works or it doesn't work.
Sounds pretty logical to me.
