Can't say that I do, but I think that's we are all waiting for 🙂

Anyone could isolate where she could be buried? Obvious possible locations include around foral village ,atalaia, arade dam(I wonder if other parts such as further up have been searched). I also looked at a route from 5a to foral-which primarily goes on highways, so nature reserves off the highway could be possible burial spots.

I feel time is a crucial factor. If MM had to be disposed of quickly, then that limits options, whereas if there was no real hurry, then her body could be almost anywhere, perhaps not even in Portugal.

given the media coverage do you think initially he disposed to quickly but after the German police notified him in 2013, he went to clear up in detail? He lived in foral in 2016 apparently but not sure about reports of him digging in foral in 2014, I haven’t seen the links for this.

I thought in 2016 he was in Germany, possibly in prison.

I believe you are correct.
In 2016 CB was in Foral IIRC from July-Sept. He left after having a fight and breaking the nose of OS, who had given CB a job. The GNR were called but missed that CB had an IAW for child sexual offences in Germany. The IAW was later picked up on at the Messines incident, CB was extradited in 2017 to serve that sentence.

Personally I don't think MM is at Foral.

Useful timeline......

He went back to Portugal and lived back at Villa Blanca in Foral for a while.

Is it likely that he acted alone or was part of a group of some kind?

Payment settled: Christian B. will be released in September

Braunschweig. Investigators suspect a German man in the case of the missing Madeleine McCann. He is expected to be released soon – unless there is another twist.

According to the public prosecutor's office, Christian B., who is also a suspect in the Madeleine McCann case, is scheduled to be released from prison in September. That day, his prison sentence for the rape of a 72-year-old American woman in Portugal will end. The 48-year-old will not have to serve a subsequent prison sentence for assault because an outstanding fine of approximately 1,450 euros has been paid, the public prosecutor's office announced.

The public prosecutor's office did not disclose who transferred the sum. According to "Spiegel," the money came from a former employee of the Federal Criminal Police Office. The news magazine had previously reported on this. The payment was recently reviewed because it was suspected to have been a misunderstanding. Now, however, according to the public prosecutor's office, everything is clear, and the fine is considered paid.

Original sentence end in January.

If the money had not been paid, the convicted sex offender would likely not have left prison until January 6th. As things stand, he now has to spend the remaining weeks until September 17th behind bars for the rape of the American woman. He was convicted of the crime by the Braunschweig Regional Court in 2019.

The situation could change if the Criminal Execution Chamber of the Hildesheim Regional Court decides on a request for Christian B.'s early release. However, according to a regional court spokeswoman, no decision has yet been made in the case.

No charges yet in the "Maddie" case

The German Christian B. has been in the spotlight for several years because German investigators have placed him under suspicion of murder in the case of three-year-old Madeleine "Maddie" McCann, who disappeared from a Portuguese holiday resort in 2007, and made this public.

However, there are no charges filed in the "Maddie" case; the presumption of innocence applies. In view of his impending release from prison, there has recently been speculation that the suspect might flee abroad. If indicted, he might then no longer be accessible to German investigators.

Acquittal in Another Trial

In October 2024, he was acquitted of three counts of rape and two counts of child sexual abuse after a trial. The former BKA employee played a minor role in this trial because she contacted defense attorney Friedrich Fülscher. However, she did not testify in the criminal proceedings.

I think he acted alone, saw an opportunity and took it. I heard a while back that he has made admissions to this effect. I doubt they will ever find poor Madeline. MOO

Clearly the Prosecutors Office have not yet heard that their appeal has been upheld otherwise I think they would have mentioned it.

If the appeal fails then CB will need to be charged for MM’s murder or released - it moves the case forward.
