I wasn't referring to what he may think but as to what action he could take. The "psychopathy spectrum" doesn't matter. A psychopath knows right from wrong and they are legally sane.

The letter is not real.

It's awful and this is probably just a tiny example of what they've had to deal with over the years.

That's how I read it too.Or, the way I read it, there is a letter .... but it does not say that there is evidence or proof that Madeleine is dead.
As the McCann's spokesperson has said there is a letter, I think that there is one.
I can imagine that the police have extended the courtesy to Madeleine's parents of telling them about Bruckner before they had their press conference.
yep they are basically saying , the media are stirring the pot. But an announcement is inevitable and it will be from a proper police Chanel.Or, the way I read it, there is a letter .... but it does not say that there is evidence or proof that Madeleine is dead.

This is all baffling and a bit mind-blowing. What on earth is going on?? Who said that there was a letter in the first place?

But they go on to disown the statements of clarence and the Portugal lawyer
I take that to mean neither is on the payroll
"Furthermore, we do not have a family spokesperson nor are we actively paying any lawyers. "
I agree. My view has always been that I wouldn't have necessarily did what they did, but I can understand why they considered it - as a group. I've visited holiday complexes like the Ocean Club and there is a feeling of 'containment' rather than being 'outside' but then you always have to be suspicious anywhere where children's safety is concerned.I know eh. Victimised from day one which diverted the case in all the wrong directions. Purposely or not, I sure hope they find out for their peace of mind. I’m not backtracking as I do believe they shouldn’t have left the kids but that’s something they have to live with, now is the time for justice for Madeleine!
I agree. Being devious seems to be a necessary tool in any crime especially one like this.Oh, ok, he is definitely enough of a psychopath (just look at the crimes he has been convicted for) to try and manipulate his way out of this like crazy.
