Maggots On A Plane! Seriously, Frickin Maggots On A Plane In The Overhead Compartment

Not until they mature into flies. They just fall out of the overhead compartment on your head and down the back of your shirt and on your lap and in your food. :innocent:

Oh! Steely! AHHHHH!!! I need a shower!!! Blah!!!

I love the question they ask the very last woman. "Was it disgusting?" What the hades do they expect the answer to be!!

"It was great!! God I love me some maggots. I don't understand why we had to turn back. Fortunately I was able to grab some and I'm saving them for later."

OMG that was FUNNY!

Ya know...my grandmother believed maggots miraculously sprung forth from garbage rotting. I was unable to convince her they were actually fly larva.

shaking my head...........

:floorlaugh:

I'm pretty sure that's BS. If it is true then the person was probably on the plane weeks before. JMO

See...that's where I have a problem...I mean, ya know...we don't just run into the airport and immediately hop on a plane...security what it is...They would have to have been seen around the gate? :banghead:

Immense curiosity would have hit me right after the first wave of disgust. I would have opened the overhead. After I opened the overhead no doubt I would regret having done that. I hate maggots and rotting food. eeewww

What?! You think that just because they won't let small bottles of hand lotion on the plane that they wouldn't give a pass to maggot infested meat? :waitasec:

LOL I was thinking body parts...but hey! I just became a cynic since joining W/S!! Go W/S!!! Love it!

Body parts being airlifted and the dry ice was bad? No one checked?

Anyone that wants to go on a diet (like I should be doing) read these, if not dieting and love McDonald's don't go there. (I just remembered the old story about maggot burgers, thinking this airplane issue was old food left from a few weeks ago, and googled.)

I think (jmo) body parts tranported are kept in the cargo hold not in an overhead bin.....I'm creaping my self out!

Immaculate maggots? :waitasec:

I was just on a US Airways flight a few weeks ago.Had maggots started dropping on me they would have had to sedate me.I would have caused a serious disturbance.I don't do maggots.I'd rather a tarantula crawl on me.

Well then, maybe you should go by ship;

Creepy-Crawly Cargo Halts 'Spider Ship'
1:04pm UK, Tuesday July 20, 2010
Andy Jack, Sky News Online

Authorities in the US territory of Guam have turned away a ship after thousands of spiders overflowed from its cargo.

Hundreds of large spiders and thousands of smaller ones scurried into the open when dock hands began offloading insulation materials from the ship, the MV Altavia.

The cargo was returned to the ship, and the Guam Department of Agriculture turned the vessel away. It was last in a South Korean port.

"When you get this many from this many various sizes, it's definitely an infestation," said the department's director Joseph Torres.

Officials said the spider was a type not normally found on Guam and there was concern they could damage the island's environment....
