Hopefully they find whatever is left of the plane. But then the reality will hit home for the families of the passengers. They will need all the love and support.

It would be absolutely awful if people could have been saved despite being injured but we never found them on time.

The families need to be put in a separate location with a video link to the Malaysian press conference not in the same room as it. I am sure grief counsellors are on stand by.

Like they would want to go....

IMO

Some might if it's where their loved one died especially if all remains cannot be recovered they should at least have the option to go.

The area where the debris could be is a garbage area due to currents, so it could just be a floating garbage pile. This is per a guy on CNN.

They may lose some customers in the beginning but Air France didn't go under after the AF447 crash. I think only the Airline for the plane in the Lockerbie bombing has gone under after an incident on one of their planes.

Did Air France purposefully mislead the entire world for 3 1/2 days to "save face"? That is simply unexcusable imo...
and that poor mother was very restrained I thought, considering the whole situation. I don't care if they are a 5 star airline- the govt that owns it should be ashamed of themselves.

Best estimate is that a 777-200ER wing, for comparison sake, is ~115 feet long, root to tip

You can come to Georgia then and swim in the river; no crocs- only alligators, stingrays, eels, and catfish...
I dont think so - thanks for the invite....

Hey

I want it found for both the families and the world but I just want you guys to know that even if boxes are found (unless the cockpit voice recorder stopped 2 hours after TAKEOFF) it will remain mysterious...

THe flight data recorder answers what : what was the plane doing and what inputs were the pilots doing

But the cockpit voice recorder often tells the why were the pilots doing what they were doing

ANd I think the only way to know the last 5 hours is to know what happened it the very first two -that is the ultimate question as to why the last 5 hours happened ...

does that make sense....dont know if I worded it right....

"An unprecedented multinational search for the plane has focused on two vast search corridors: one arcing north overland from Laos towards the Caspian Sea, the other curving south across the Indian Ocean from west of Indonesia's Sumatra island to west of Australia.

Australia is leading the search in the southern part of the southern corridor, with assistance from the U.S. Navy.

The depth of the water where the possible debris has been sighted would likely make recovering the "black box" voice and data recorders that may finally unlock the mystery of what happened aboard Flight MH370 extremely challenging".

I agree their behaviour has been terrible at times and this is a public relations disaster but I don't think they airline will go under. I may be wrong.

Malaysia Airlines has briefed the families about the information provided by the Australian government, a spokeswoman for the airlines told CNN.

The airline said unless there is confirmation that the objects in the southern Indian Ocean are that of MH370, they are not sending any families members to Australia.

For complete coverage of breaking news, go to CNN TV, CNN.com and CNN Mobile.

A. Cooper is so comforting & soothing to listen to.

Yes, he is... unfortunately other reporters are not so much...
Even with a British accent, which I normally love. :loveyou:

Maybe your realationship has gone stale.

Others seem not to notice his flaws!

He has FLAWS? :scared:
No way. :snooty:

They were in huge financial mess before this but they earned 5 stars in service stuff (like serving food on plates ! ) Cabin crew that speak to you , smile etc etc unlike here in AMerica, here planes are like buses with wings, sit down shut up and dont bother us !!!!

Steely... That's your cue... :winko:

No, I'm too worried.

Are they going to have something for sure soon? I don't want to go to bed if they'll know soon.

Will it let us know if the pilots were smoking?
