I would guess no. Not in water that cold and rough.

Does anyone one know what would be out there, shark wise? I know they go south but I'm not sure if they'd be that far out west?

Quoting myself, but Nicole tells me that there would be Great Whites out that far at least

IIRC, they said this is the longest search ever.

One took 14 days, but it was in 1987.

Seriously??? LOL

Jump in your car, put your foot on the pedal and head for the nearest wall... let me know if your "crash" is successful...

If its not, repeat until you get it right.

Thank you! That is exactly what I thought. But I'm not a pilot, so I thought I'd ask. :seeya:

A friend just texted me to inform me 370 pieces have been found...
...eyeroll....

She's not much of a news follower but knows I've been following this. Cute huh?

That drives me NUTS!
"Did you hear about this thing that is totally old news and happened YESTERDAY?"

Time for me to go walk the puppy... she's telling me she's ready to go play with the other dogs down the dog park now...

This is her cuddled up close to me as we approached this cat down the street we call "Grey Cat" - whom she's terrified of... hahahaha!

Although searching for some time, the objects have not yet been found. Authorities are saying that it might take until tomorrow to make a sighting.

And a huge area too....Hmmm why haven’t they gone to Afghanistan yet? :floorlaugh:
Lots of huge caves there.

I don't want to get my hopes up. It could be debris that is not even connected to this flight.

So is it possible there could still be survivors after all this time? After a crash and then floating at sea?! Or am I just being outlandishly optimistic?? It seems like quite an urgent effort to get to the debris with several boats and planes. Makes me think that *they* think survivors are a (remote) possibility?

I think it's more that debris can disappear fast and they really need to locate the plane and it's occupants. But I don't think they believe anyone survived.

You would be surprised. When my son was killed in an auto accident I insisted on seeing his car in the wrecker yard. Everyone tried to talk me out of it and I just about flipped out. My husband took me. I had to see it, feel it and experience it. I am glad I did.

I didn't know you lost your child, Isabelle. I'm very sad to hear that.

I remember reading about a lady whose young daughter was savagely beaten to death by a guy she knew. She demanded to see the little body and examine every inch. Every inch was practically covered in bruises. She went over the whole, little body. People tried to stop her but she said she needed to know what her baby went through.

I hope they dont sink the pieces like they did that life raft...

:please: I want to believe that survival was possible too

It is possible if they are not in the sea, and I think not....

Grey Cat looks like Grumpy Cat's sister. No wonder your dog is afraid of her. :floorlaugh:

I would be afraid of that cat too. It reminds me of Dr. Evil's cat's .
