that transcript between ATC and the pilots ... was it ever released?

I haven't seen it yet

Not an audio version. There was a printed one released a few days ago. Whether it was official or not is the other thing.

Just a question - at various times we have been told this plane flew at different altitudes dodging radar, shadowed another plane, followed waypoints (is that the correct word), flew in the dark - all after the "all right, good night" response. Is it possible for a plane to do all these things on autopilot? TIA

Some (unnamed) expert/s do not believe so .....

Asked about the possibility of a plane malfunction or an on-board fire, the source told the newspaper: "It just does not hinge together..... [The investigators] have gone through processes you do to get the plane where it flew to for eight hours. They point to it being flown in a rational way."

But one strengthening possibility is that they acted quickly to turn the plane around and abruptly dropped its altitude to try to save the passengers and crew after a catastrophic event on board.

Under this scenario the pilots became unconscious when the cabin depressurised and plane flew un-piloted for hours into the far southern Indian Ocean.

The experts on CNN have mostly been saying NO. Saying the plane would fly at 35,000 ft once it was on autopilot to conserve fuel. These 777 are very smart planes. I'm not sure about the way points though. Might have to be plotted?

Some saying the shadowing thing is just preposterous and could only be done by very experienced fighter pilots (in fighter jets, which are much smaller planes than 777) after much practice.

I'm hitting the couch again with Blondie cat, tired. Nite all! :cat::offtobed:

+ + Pray for family and friends of Flight M370 + +

Now time for this -- a real investigation

Has it been released....or do we know THE SEATING LIST/DOCKET inside where everyone was sitting on this flight??

Where were those 2 guys sitting with the Fake ID's? Close to front? Close to Each other?

I kinda find this funny that this has not been released or talked about -- as you think this would be very important too.

Wandering minds WANT to know this info!!!!!!!!!

I don't have a link but just yesterday i read that all passengers have been cleared

Especially since the battery in a black box only lasts 30 days. If this plane crashed on March 8 (which I strongly believe it did), those 30 days are fast running out. They have 2 weeks to find the black box before it stops pinging.

Thankfully, from what I understand, even if it is found after it stops pinging, it still retains data.

I never believed the debris are from the plane, and they knew the weather patterns in advance.
IF WE can look up the weather for the next 10 days I am certain they can too, now its the weather? BS.

THAT ENTIRE FIASCO in my opinion is a diversion and that is it, just a diversion.
FIND WHAT? thy cant find a huge plane, or 239 people and are on a race to find a black box.
SURE, sure....:twocents:

If they find debris and can identify it as wreckage from the plane, can I ask what you will think then. Are you going to accept it or still think it's maybe in a cave in Afganistan.

I am asking nicely to try to understand what you are thinking as I am a bit confused with some of your posts. :seeya:

I noticed it seemed odd, as well.

My thoughts on it:

1. The transcript was translated from English to Chinese, then back to English, so there could have been something lost in all of those translations

2. He could have been losing consciousness due to hypoxia, since he also repeated the altitude

3. As you said, it was someone other than the co-pilot

It would be really nice to hear what transpired, but we probably never will. Malaysia Airlines posted this earlier today:

Pilots repeat altitude back to ATC.
I've heard it on tons of ATC audio.

Yes, the data will be still be there :)
The pinging just makes it easier to find. Hopefully it's found before the pinging stops!

Was this British fellow the one who presented the theory to Malay govt?

Did the Malay govt interpret wrongly or did they make it go the way they wanted it to go?!

I would need physical proof, not a conclusion and certainly not an assumption
.

BBM

The entire world would like some proof and all they will have are stories. made up stories, and assumptions. one day someone will leak the truth
but not today.
Just like 9/11 and JFK we do know; but they wont say, afraid we know too much they sealed the JFK case for 50 more years. WHY? hmmm
because when we do know we would want the federal Reserve gone, in 50 years we will have New World Order and the JFK case will not cause for us to banish the Federal reserve.

WHY IS THAT PLANE a secret mission. That I do not know yet....

Missing Malaysia Airlines plane: Australia hands investigation back to Malaysia

Australia will no longer be supervising the search for wreckage in the Southern Ocean. Deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss said confirmation by Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak that the plane had crashed killing all on board moved the investigation into a new phase, with Malaysia taking control under the Chicago Convention on international civil aviation.

“The announcement by the Prime Minster that Malaysia believes that the aircraft is lost and that there will be no survivors does move the search to a new phase,” he said.

“It moves it to a stage where we are now investigating an accident, a loss of an aircraft and some new decisions will have to be taken now about the direction of future operations.

“Malaysia needs to take control under the Chicago convention of those investigations.

Wow; sounds like this will put a damper on many other countries' participation as well.

The pinging just makes it easier to find. Hopefully it's found before the pinging stops!

The way things are going, it may take a miracle.

Thanks all for the updates. I woke very early today and reading here had a feeling things would break. I spent the day in a very boring workshop so I was anxious to get back here after a dinner engagement as well. My heart is heavy. My heart hurts. So very very sad.

We have had plenty of links about black boxes and how long they ping for. From memory, it is a minimum of 30 days but can be longer depending on how new the battery is and other factors. Let's hope it pings for longer though.

I thought that too until I looked. The couples on vacay are all dark blue also.

It is people traveling together, for example 3 ppl dark blue next to two ppl light blue, the description says a couple and their son etc. then quotes a family member

A cave in Afghanistan is just one thought. so no I don’t only think that it would have to be in some cave, or desert...or hidden in some forest.
But I definitely do thing the BS about the debris is a diversion.
And if that debris is from that plane why has there not been one or two bodys that floated up? or a sneeker

According to the satellite pings and arc information, yes.
If this is the plane's debris in the Indian Ocean, then it had to have flown until it ran out of gas (about 7-8 hours worth).

and at a height of approximately 35,000 feet to get to where they suspect she is.

Yes, that was him, and older guy with grey hair. He said the same thing, need real proof... plane or piece of plane from Indian Ocean, black boxes, etc.

YES, he implied that the Malay PM changed his words to suit him and tried to call it all off and sweep the plane crash under the rug. I wish I could remember the experts name.

His British organization is the same as our NTSB.

Oh that is sickening. Very convenient though since people will fill up the hotel for the F1 races, and they will be paying customers! Just sick!
