Is that episode available online to US peeps? TIA!
Other people, sorry idk who they are, were thanking everyone also. PM Abbott says If this mystery is sovable we will solve it. Says every country bearing its own cost. We got the best people working on this search. This is the best we can do.
BBM ~ It could have broken in half descending? I have this image of it gliding down, then breaking apart.
I do agree....it seems a bit drastic..,,BUT because Anwars acquittal was overturned, it means that he could not run in a by-election, which means he could not run for future prime-minister.... so really IF the pilot did it for political reasons, I would think it was to somehow put a bad spotlight on the corrupt government and overturn the charges on Anwar all together so that he would be capable of becoming next prime minister.......
Once again I say a big "if" as it does seem very drastic to kill 238 innocent people, unless he maybe thought it was worth it for the overall good of his country...
Did anyone in Australia watch th Sixty Minutes segment on it last night....the two aviation experts (one was American) they had in both agreed that it was deliberate, and one even said along the lines of - there is nil, none, zero evidence of mechanical fault in any way............he stressed this point...
I found it interesting and I don't believe it was mechanical either.....
I try to remember there has not been a case in recent years where the airliner/debris could not even be located. So of course, nothing can be confirmed until that happens, at least. I really don't know how capable any country would appear in these circumstances. Jmo
I have an image of it running out of gas at 400+ miles an hour and slamming the water. Thats what seems to happen when planes run out of gas.
The leer jet people kept comparing this case too, left a huge whole in the ground.
I guess I think if the plane crashed it shattered.
I however dont think the plane crashed because not one piece of anything know about it points to that conclusion.
:australia:
In your capable hands. :loveyou:
I'm glad there is organization with many nations which means they are not giving up.

Everything I have heard on CNN is that the plane just stops going forward and falls tail first.
What about the transponder being switched off before saying goodnight?
To any of our pilot peeps:
If the pilot was in a hypoxic state, could he have turned off the transponder while attempting to turn something else on or off? Like communications radio or anything? Anything of interest near that switch? Just a thought I had.
I didnt think the transponder was switched off before the final voice transmission. It was originally theorized that ACARS was disabled before the final voice transmission (that wouldnt have been discovered until the next data transmission was late/missed), but now theyre not even sure if that didnt happen until after.
I would think that if the transponder was disabled before the final voice transmission, ATC would have said something, because youd think that would have been immediately noticed.
Question about the suicide theory..... didn't I hear in initial reports that the plane was only carrying enough fuel to get it to it's destination? Which wasn't enough fuel to get it to the Indian Ocean. So how would a suicidial pilot working alone be able to get the extra fuel loaded?
