Not saying that it does. Just saying that they searched the area, and found nothing. Also with US military not seeing an explosion on radar it seems very unlikely that this is what happened.

One thing I found interesting in the letter was he didn't see the plane explode. He said he saw something on fire. I wonder if there could have been a fire of a mechanical origin.

Until a few weeks ago, Nourmohammadi’s Facebook page seemed much like that of any other 19-year-old. It has posts on cars, girls and video clips of youth poking fun at those in authority. But as he approaches his departure from Iran, his posts turn more cryptic, the youthful cheerfulness dims. Nourmohammadi knew he was taking a big risk: he asked friends to pray for him the night before he left. After he went through Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s passport control, he posted: “Thanks to all of those who prayed for me, I’m safe.”

Which is strange IMO. If I was sneaking out of a "bad" place and illegally into a "good place" I would NOT be talking about it on social media. I would be soooooo under the radar so to speak. Mum. Say nothing.

That's why his FB seems hinky to me, though I can't understand any of the words in detail.

(Then again, I long ago passed the age of 19!)

Wtf????

I'm almost scared to ask - what religion? :(

Many people pray without a religion. I don't think the religion of any passengers is important at this point.
This young man has already been said to simply be a young man using a illegal passport to start a new life. :twocents:

" The head of the Malaysian police force, Khalid Abu Bakar, also said on Tuesday that after having been in touch with Nourmohammadi’s mother in Frankfurt, he believed the teenager had been trying to reach Europe as an asylum seeker.
Because of dire economic circumstances as well as restrictions on social freedoms at home, some Iranian youth opt to make such risky trips.
Many of them must use illegal methods, usually involving human-trafficking rings. Nourmohammadi had left Iran with his official passport, but apparently used a stolen Austrian passport when he arrived in Kuala Lumpur."

Right but I would think that satellite would pick up smoke from fires. The pick up forest fire 's.

Anthony Roman, Pilot, doesn't believe the image is the missing airplane.

Wonder what spot on the map we'll be looking at all day tomorrow?

:waitasec:

Could be trash, could be almost anything.. The ocean contains a lot of stuff that is not suppose to be in it.

The image of the plane's cockpit area from that angle looks a lot like what I found on Tomnod earlier today.
