So I'm on TomNod right now and it says that the imagry was captured March 12. Does that mean that any possible images are from yesterday?

:banghead: I'm on tomnod and nothing is working.

I can just picture it now.

I am not even going to try looking for the plane on this site. I can't even do a where's Wally puzzle let alone search for a plane wreck in the ocean but well done to everyone who is trying and making an effort it is appreciated.

I think everything's a theory!
All I know about the cell phones is that they pinged off a cell tower in/near Kota Baru.

I don't think is accurate. I believe TMZ published a theory that if the plane flew low and close enough to the tower, then phones could have pinged. As far as I know, the only confirmed pings have been between the Boeing equipment and a satellite.

At this rate, it's going to somebody from here who DOES locate it!
Maybe it's your browser. I'm using Chrome and it's working fine for me.

Wanted to bring these posts over from the last thread
We are discussing what Nymeria saw on tomnod

My first (and only) impression is of a whale. Pretty cool if it is!

Ok, I'm a newbie. But in thread 5 someone posted a piece of info from a pilot forum; that the erratic path through the 4 way stations actually would have kept the plane on the borders of air traffic control boundaries of different countries (Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand). Now I can't find the post - was it deleted because it wasn't main stream media? If that route was taken purposefully to skirt the boundaries of air traffic control that would, IMO, pretty much solidify hijacking (pilot or 3rd party). That would never happen just by coincidence.

Maybe I need to google and see if I can find the pilot forum that was referred to.

Hi welcome Peanutty yes it was probably deleted we aren't allowed to post links to other forums. I have made the mistake of posting links to the airliners forum which is not allowed. We can post links to main stream media though if you find another map with the borders of air traffic control from a mainstream media site.

The cargo compartment can be accessed from the main cabin. Also on board are two overhead crew rest compartments which may or may not have been subject to pre flight checks before flight. The fact that cargo may not have been inspected is interesting. The overhead crew rest can hold a number of people. Generally the cabin crew is responsible for checking the cabin crew rest area befor take off while the flight deck is responsible for checking theirs..

There's another theory to add to our bucket: an inside job.

I think I have a future career as a whale boat captain! :giggle:

I seem to have found another!

This idea of helping the search is great, but I wish I knew *exactly* where it was I am looking. I think this is still the prior search area (Dated 3/11/14).
They said they uploaded new areas, but I am a fumbling idiot at locating them :blushing:

I agree. I posted on the previous thread:
"By this time tomorrow we will have a sighting. No way we sent assets into the Indian Ocean on a whim."

Could you imagine if it WAS an inside job?!
I would sure explain a lot of Malaysia's behavior.

Maybe the whales will lead you to the plane?

The tiles I was looking at were dated 3/12/14.

ETA: That one DEFINITELY looks like a whale!

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet. Based on what John51 has been posting (and I've been reposting because I think it's the motivation for the hijacking/commandeering), it really stood out to me.

This is in reference to the captain (bbm):
Zaharie was known for cooking food for community events or making sure his wife and children did when he couldn't attend. A supporter of Malaysia's main opposition parties, he had volunteered to be a poll monitor in recent elections.
http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/malays...s-lives-scrutinized-picture-emerges-1.2573080

John51's theory is that the plane was hijacked to make demands of the Malaysian gov't - for changes. He speculated that the demands could cause the collapse of the gov't. I'm not that well-versed on the subject, but there does seem to be a lot of corruption and discrimination, IMO.

So I wanted to add this to the current thread (it's been posted on previous ones):

This is the possible connection: Anwar Ibrahim's acquittal was overturned the day before flight 370 went missing (it basically seems like a bogus case against him, with even the Malaysian gov't falsifying evidence):

Last week, Anwar Ibrahim was convicted by the Court of Appeal on a charge of sodomy, overturning a High Court acquittal of 2012. He was sentenced to five years in jail, but may remain free on bail while he appeals the verdict.

Now Anwar's legal counsel Karpal Singh faces up to three years imprisonment on charges of sedition under a 1948 colonial era law, when the High Court in Kuala Lumpur passes sentencing Tuesday.

Singh is head of the opposition Democrat Party and the charges relate to comments he made regarding a constitutional issue involving the Sultan of Perak.

Not on a whim. We sent them there because the plane being missing is a world threat ..So it has to be found. 12 other countries are also assisting.

BBM ~ The plane could of quite literally flown under the radar while everyone was incapacitated.

Welcome to WS! I hadn't heard about the plane maybe trying to stay between radar boundaries. Very interesting....
