Saw an ABC news article stating the Malaysian government took the pilots flight simulator. Has that already been linked?

Okay, all of this is JMO, MOO, IMO, etc. That's because I no longer have a link.
Until this morning, the pilot's FB was available. Now it's gone. Poof. And I didn't screen shot it.....snipped......

BUT...what kind of terrorist posts condolences to the families and victim's of the Boston Bombing? He did, right after it happened. Just condolences, no other comments.

....snipped.......

He had lots of cooking photos there too. Along with, of course, pics of his flight simulator and parts he used to build it.

....snipped.....

Btw, the co-pilot's FB disappeared immediately, within a day or so and it was speculated that his family removed it but who knows? Now there are only fake ones or condolence fb's under his name. However, the pilot's FB stayed up until this morning. Granted, it was a little hard to find, but someone removed it now.

JMO MOO IMO

.....snipped.....

I am catching up and Thank You for this post that was near the end of the last Thread.

This to me seems important because it shows he had an "interest" in the story about the Boston Bombing.

To me, it shows an interest and nothing more than that however I add it to the list of things that are accumulating towards who could have possibly been involved in this plane's demise if it was intentionally hijacked.

Statistically if we were to randomly sample 1000 people that do not live in the US, I am willing to bet that a small percentage would have taken interest enough in the Boston Bombing to actually post something on Facebook about it. So to me, it is just another mark to add to the list of concerning things. Nothing more but it adds up with other marks.

I am trying to keep the totality of the evidence along with all other things when trying to decide who may have been involved with this plane's demise.

Well since other crazy theories are out there, here's another one.

What if terrorist hijackers took the plane intending to go to Afghanistan to collect detainees, e.g., Bagram? And what if the US military took action to disable the unidentified flight/threat? Would we not hide shooting down a passenger plane commandeered by bad guys?

This would explain "why steal a plane?" - the answer being to take the detainees away.

Yes, I know this is crazy, but so are terrorists. Maybe they would have been thinking that the US would not attack a commercial airliner?

If I heard correctly, the Australians are taking over. I'll post a link as soon as I find one.

I'm sure this flight engineer was a passenger on the plane I understand he was not part of the crew. They are investigating whether their was a pilot who hitched a ride on the jump seat in the cockpit. I don't know if it has been confirmed that there actually was someone in the jump seat yet.

Yeah sorry, I just realised he was a passenger. Have edited my post.

If the search is really concentrating on those two search corridors based on what that satellite heard, then it makes sense that the USS Kidd would stop searching. The northern corridor is over land and the southern corridor is well to the south and east of the Kidd's position. The USS Kidd maybe has a duty station to stay in that area. The search by US surface assets would probably be assigned to other ships closer to that area. The real problem is that there arent a lot of ships in that area. Its pretty remote.

Sadly I think the search is slowly winding down all the countries are not going to spend millions of pounds looking for a plane when nobody has any idea where it could be. It is very worrying this plane may never be found.

I firmly believe the lack of cooperation of the Malyasian government is what is making a lot of countries not want to participate any further.

IMO, it is safe to conclude they have not been as forthcoming as they should have been from the very start and their lack of cooperation and hindrance to the investigation continues. Like a complete list of all the passenger + crew information is my undertanding has still not been supplied to other governments.

Yes, their attempt at damage control is only damaging the investigation.

Right. I was wondering about a third guy in the cockpit which this flight didn't have. I recall a "3rd guy" on my flights in the pit facing backwards or sideways, but maybe I haven't noticed recently or maybe it was only on transatlantic flights.

But having a FE as a passenger is certainly interesting. Nice to know on DAY 10!

Yep - third guy in the cockpit was called the navigator. I recall this on only a few flights on large planes and possibly trans-Atlantic.

And location changes hourly. These small countries can't afford it. And I really question if we (US) can or should. jmo

U.S. Navy pulling out destroyer

The USS Kidd is expected to stop searching for the plane in the Indian Ocean in the coming days, according to several U.S. officials.

That's partially because Australians are taking over the majority of the searching in that area, the officials said. A U.S. P-8 aircraft will move to Perth, Australia, to be based there for searching.

Fewer U.S. assets will be involved in the search for the missing plane, but U.S. officials said the P-8 will be able to cover a wider range of ocean more quickly than the ship could.

And Australia signed on to search the southern Indian Ocean.

since Day 3 I've been thinking about the saying: "revenge is a dish best eaten cold"

Could be for long term revenge??

One person at a time.....to show how many more lives they could take. The peoples lives would be a BIG bargaining tool, IMO. Just think what each person would be thinking.....their families. It would be mental abuse of all.

Tick, tock, tick, tock.........One person at a time....the Opposite of 9/11
