Possibly- but wouldn’t her siblings be woken? It’s not a large area and they were all lying within a few feet of each other asleep. The siblings were not allowed to be interviewed by the police at the time. From this previously posted link Nora Quoirin was ‘still alive and moving’ during search in Malaysian jungle
An inquest into her death heard from Superintendent Mohamad Nor Marzukee Besar about how many times police searched the exact location where her body was found.
Mr Besar said: "Three times. The fourth day, the fifth day, and the sixth day [of the search]."
"We can assume that when the search team was in the area, the missing person was still alive and moving.

Couldn’t they also assume that Nora may have been held at a hidden location during this time? I keep harping on this possibility because it doesn’t seem logical to me that she was found lying dead by the stream with few injuries after moving through the jungle for so many days. LE also assumes she wasn’t kidnapped because no one asked for ransom. Couldn’t she have been removed from her bedroom for reasons other than ransom? Too many assumptions IMO.
I’m dumb- can you explain more please?Malay police will never admit that a third person -a 'genie'- played a role in Nora's disappearance and death. They will never admit that.

Ivana Smit died in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ivana Smit was no mother Teresa, but her death shouldn't have been treated that way.I’m dumb- can you explain more please?
The "genie" is a person or persons.I guess a parallel to that would be American investigators will never admit that a "bigfoot" or "alien" played a role in the disappearance of a person in the U.S. I hope that in both parts of the world, evidence provides a clearer picture of what happened. IMO
Why do you keep saying 'Malay police'. The country is called Malaysia.Ivana Smit died in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ivana Smit was no mother Teresa, but her death shouldn't have been treated that way.
Malay police told lies, documented false information, had the pathologist document false information and wanted to get rid of the case by stating that she fell from the balcony alive.
Autopsy showed that she died in the apartment and was thrown over the balcony hours later, while already in rigor mortis. Two other people were present in the apartment when she died. They were never charged and fled the country.
It took a coroner's court to re-review the case and to demolish all wrong doings by Malay LE!
The problem remains that the two suspects are still "at large" and haven't been brought to justice.
Evidence in the disappearance of Nora suggests that an outsider is involved. No way she reached there by herself with no traces to her feet or knees or what ever. Malay police will never admit that and will insist that she walked there all by herself for 7 days.
As hard as it sounds, Malay police wants to get rid of this case.
I’ve always referred to residents of Malaysia as Malaysian- I had to google the term Malay and it is not being used correctly in regards LE.Why do you keep saying 'Malay police'. The country is called Malaysia.
I remember that case now, it had completely escaped my mind.Ivana Smit died in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ivana Smit was no mother Teresa, but her death shouldn't have been treated that way.

Right on. Malaysian police. Why do you keep saying 'Malay police'. The country is called Malaysia.
Not that it matters, but Malay is an alternative adjectival form. Also the name of the language.I’ve always referred to residents of Malaysia as Malaysian- I had to google the term Malay and it is not being used correctly in regards LE.
Not everyone is Malay though- so referring to the police force needs referencing as Malaysian, rather than the more specific Malay. It would be similar to referring to the American Police as the Native American Police force- it’s not an accurate description in that context. Not that it matters, but Malay is an alternative adjectival form. Also the name of the language.
Oxford English dictionary:
Malay, adj. Of, relating to, or characteristic of the Malays or their country.
So allegedly, N came down what looks like a steep and difficult staircase, possibly still jet lagged and exited a broken door with a moderately high up-step, on her first morning in an unfamiliar setting?![]()
Front door to exit the House is behind the spiral staircase
