From this previously posted link Nora Quoirin was ‘still alive and moving’ during search in Malaysian jungle

An inquest into her death heard from Superintendent Mohamad Nor Marzukee Besar about how many times police searched the exact location where her body was found.

Mr Besar said: "Three times. The fourth day, the fifth day, and the sixth day [of the search]."

"We can assume that when the search team was in the area, the missing person was still alive and moving.

Couldn’t they also assume that Nora may have been held at a hidden location during this time? I keep harping on this possibility because it doesn’t seem logical to me that she was found lying dead by the stream with few injuries after moving through the jungle for so many days. LE also assumes she wasn’t kidnapped because no one asked for ransom. Couldn’t she have been removed from her bedroom for reasons other than ransom? Too many assumptions IMO.
Possibly- but wouldn’t her siblings be woken? It’s not a large area and they were all lying within a few feet of each other asleep. The siblings were not allowed to be interviewed by the police at the time.

Malay police will never admit that a third person -a 'genie'- played a role in Nora's disappearance and death. They will never admit that.

I guess a parallel to that would be American investigators will never admit that a "bigfoot" or "alien" played a role in the disappearance of a person in the U.S. I hope that in both parts of the world, evidence provides a clearer picture of what happened. IMO

Yes, I agree that’s problematic and I’ve thought of that. I think it’s unfortunate (and strange) that the siblings weren’t interviewed by LE. Of course, it could be similar to Elizabeth Smart’s little sister being too traumatized and not remembering who took Elizabeth for months. Or it’s possible that someone outside quietly lured Nora and she told her siblings not to tell. There are other possibilities even beyond these that I think are possible.

What I personally don’t think is possible is for Nora to have been wandering in the jungle, eluding searchers, starving and laying herself down by a stream to die, with very few visible injuries. But I don’t mind being wrong. JMO

When you wake in a tropical forest there are magical sounds, the birds, the monkeys, this from about half an hour before dawn truly breaks, you get up, look and listen, go outside to see more. It is a mesmerising moment, it draws you, especially the first moment you experience it.

But bear in mind the cosmovision. What is typical to shamans is that something occurred because of a lack of balance between the natural world and this world that we are living in.

What could that mean in real terms?

I’m dumb- can you explain more please?
Ivana Smit died in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ivana Smit was no mother Teresa, but her death shouldn't have been treated that way.
Malay police told lies, documented false information, had the pathologist document false information and wanted to get rid of the case by stating that she fell from the balcony alive.
Autopsy showed that she died in the apartment and was thrown over the balcony hours later, while already in rigor mortis. Two other people were present in the apartment when she died. They were never charged and fled the country.

It took a coroner's court to re-review the case and to demolish all wrong doings by Malay LE!
The problem remains that the two suspects are still "at large" and haven't been brought to justice.

Evidence in the disappearance of Nora suggests that an outsider is involved. No way she reached there by herself with no traces to her feet or knees or what ever. Malay police will never admit that and will insist that she walked there all by herself for 7 days.
As hard as it sounds, Malay police wants to get rid of this case.

Why do you keep saying 'Malay police'. The country is called Malaysia.

I remember that case now, it had completely escaped my mind.

I’ve always referred to residents of Malaysia as Malaysian- I had to google the term Malay and it is not being used correctly in regards LE.
Not that it matters, but Malay is an alternative adjectival form. Also the name of the language.

Oxford English dictionary:
Malay, adj. Of, relating to, or characteristic of the Malays or their country.

As a reminder - Sora House and the window - on the left - that Nora - allegedly - climbed out of

Not everyone is Malay though- so referring to the police force needs referencing as Malaysian, rather than the more specific Malay. It would be similar to referring to the American Police as the Native American Police force- it’s not an accurate description in that context.
