polygraph tests are not admissible in court and they do not prove if people are guilty or not. They would have to have PROOF that Lindsey and Alonzo actually were responsible for MDJ's death.

They don't have proof, as far as we're aware. Therefore, WHY are they saying their story is accurate? This is my question. It's been my question since Vashley posted about it.

The only witness that I am aware of that they took a statement from was the passenger in the semi truck He said it looked like she came out the window He thought maybe she jumped so the LE is going according to that. I am sure they wish they had some evidence to prove otherwise but they don't. I am still waiting to find out from Dee if they ever took a statement from Shaine. Have you read a copy of the police report?

I have

  • #323
IIRC Shaine said he gave a statement to tribal police right??

  • #324
What do you mean by this? I am a little confused here? How could anybody be harassing Alonzo or Lindsey via the internet???

Don't mis-interpret my post please....naturally I am not talking about us, lol!!! Keep in mind that we have posted a whole lot of information about all of the players in these threads and if they are remotely internet savvy they can pull it all up and see...perhaps they contacted LE...who knows?

I thought the purse was white but I do not know why...maybe I dreamed it. And Vashley, any information is relevant so don't apologize!!!

Didn't fmw recall that she had been seen in a car similar to Alonzo's several times, too? :furious:

Kind of. A neighborhood man told a detective that he had seen her several times, with a man who's car matched Alonzo's car. Now the witness was color-blind so he couldn't give a color of the car, but the vintage, model and wheels (non-stock spoke rims) was a match - unless her pimp (someone OTHER than Alonzo) had a similiar car.

  • #326
I'm sure I've read that, Vashley. I wonder what this could mean, though.

ETA: I'm pretty sure the purse was white. I want to say Dee verified it with Shaine, but I couldn't be 100% accurate about it.

I thought Shaine said it was BLACK, but I emailed him to verify and am still waiting on his response.

That he probably knows more about MJD than he let on. Clearly, he lead a dishonest lifestyle and was probably not the most creditable person on earth. And I sometimes believe that he really does know her name. But then I think.. what could possibly make someone completely deny knowing someones name unless they were going to be severely punished or killed? Did LE even follow up with Alonzo? Last I heard they didn't even know where he was.

If Alonzo is a known pimp and he was taking MJD to Miami, FL to be one of his circuit girls, then he probably would have been charged with child prostitution which is a VERY severe charge, if he admitted knowing who she was. If he knew her and she was prostituting and associating with him, he might also be charged with child prostitution or soliciting a child for prostitution. It's much easier to remove the guilt by association by denying any and all knowledge of the girl and her identity... IMO.

Yes. I believe he did say he gave a statement to the tribal police. The police report (I believe that's from Maricopa County, right?) says that they paged him and he never returned the call, but Shaine did say he gave a statement to tribal LE, who were first on the scene, after him and the college kid that called the police.

The Lindsey we found on myspace was not the right one and Alonzo is among the missing so I doubt anybody could be harassing either one of them.

I've LOOKED for them online, but haven't found them. They're quite the elusive bunch. Even if I found them online, I wouldn't think making contact with them for the purpose of an investigation would constitute "harassment."

I'm thankful Shaine's been so helpful with the investigation. He thought that she had been identified and I think it saddened him when I told him she had not been.

Ah yes, I recall reading this in the police report. Thank you. What are the chances of MJD being in the same model car with someone else? Probably higher because she was a prostitute, but on several occasions in the same vehicle?!.. too bad the witness was color blind..

Denying it would definitely be the first thing he did if he knew he was going to be charged with exploitation of a minor for prostitution. But I figured after he had been charged with possession of marijuana, reckless manslaughter and failure to render aid it wouldn't be a big deal to admit who she was since he couldn't be charged again for the same crime.

Now say he did admit to knowing her name and they found out he was "pimping" MJD, or was involved with her pimp..is there a loophole or something that could have him charged with endangerment of a child or solicitation of a child since it would be PRIOR to her death? Everything he was charged with happened on that day. So it wouldn't have been the same crime in a sense.. ehh I could just be talking crazy though..

Ugh.. how impossible would that be to prove?

Haha, Dee, that's why I'm like birth control - never 100%.

  • #333
I thought it looked more like maybe a birth mark? Perhaps an old scar? Or just throwing this out there, perhaps it was another tattoo before. Maybe from her former pimp and it was removed in a note so nice way?
IDK, I sorta agree with believe, when I first saw it, I also thought it looked like a hickey too. But my second thought WAS that maybe a previous tat had been removed. But I still think it is a bruise/hickey of some kind.

I am a long-time lurker on this thread....don't remember if I ever posted.

Regarding her purse.....I work in a hospital and the standard operating procedure is that any items that the patient cannot retrieve themselves, they go in the safe in the security office, where they stay until claimed. I have seen MANY instances of items languishing in the safe in security for years and years. Has anyone contacted the security department at the hospital to see if it's still there? Seems silly, I know....but it does happen.

ETA: This may have already been linked here.....a story on this case from the New Times.

I don't work in a hospital, but that is what I thought might have happened to the purse and any other possible belongings also. After she passed away, there would have been no one to claim them, and there they may still sit or have been disposed of.

I've dealt with this sort of thing before. I had a patient who came out of surgery and couldn't find his ID or insurance cards. I'm sure they're locked away somewhere, but no one could find them.

I'd imagine after her death, her purse would go to LE, but if LE doesn't have it, then it could possibly still be in a locker somewhere. It wouldn't be uncommon.

Hi! I would think the statute of limitations in relation to any of his involvement in her "professional" life would have run out long ago. IDK - I'm no expert! I just can't imagine what harm there would be in Alonzo or Lindsey revealing her name at this stage. Surely they could do it anonomously. I'm beginning to believe they really didn't know her name.

With regard to the purse......we KNOW there was one and Shaine said it was full of condoms. Does anyone find it odd that MJD would jump out of the car in the middle of the desert - without her shoes - but would be sure to take her purse full of condoms?????? Makes no sense to me. There had to have been something of value in that purse!

Where did you get this information? I have never read this before?

Yes. But maybe it was one of those small ones that just hung from her neck.

The police report, page 29, March 4, 1999. "WHILE DOING THIS, I CONTACTED HXXX BXXX, WHO LIVES AT 🤬🤬🤬 N. 23RD STREET, APARTMENT #X, AND SHOWED HIM A FLIER. HE ADVISED THE FOLLOWING:
HE RECOGNIZED THE FEMALE AS A POSSIBLE PROSTITUTE THAT HAD BEEN IN THE AREA, HOWEVER, HE HAS NOT SEEN HER FOR SOME TIME. THE FEMALE WAS REPORTEDLY TO HAVE A LIGHT SKINNED BLACK MAN WHO WAS POSSIBLY ACTING AS HER PIMP. HE DESCRIBED HIM AS HAVING SHORT HAIR THAT WAS POSSIBLY CURLY. BXXXX HAD SEEN THE TWO TOGETHER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE PIMP WAS DESCRIBED AS HAVING A "NEWER" FOUR DOUR CADILLAC THAT HAD EITHER SPOKE RIMS OR OTHER NON STOCK WHEELS. BXXXX IS COLOR BLIND AND WAS NOT ABLE TO TELL THE COLOR OF THE CAR. BXXX HAD NO OTHER INFORMATION ON EITHER SUBJECTS."
