Could have been what Alonzo was reaching for in the back seat.

That's exactly what I was thinking about those shoes.

ok what doesnt make since here is this if SHE WENT TO HIM for a RIDE why in the He!! would she just jump out down the road......doesnt add up....Hey Im a hitchicker I want to go to Miami Fl too, but I suddenly change my mind and think hey Im gonna just jump out and possibly die!!!!

On the brusie below the tattoo I have thought it might have been somebody poking their finger towards it like (HARD) YOUR MINE this MEANS YOUR MINE....etc etc.....

On they issue of Lindsey the only reason I can think of foe her not to tell who the girl is, is if the girl would then be traced directly back to her.

Such as they went to school together,or knew each other then it would directly point back to her.....

If I may, I'd like to give a possible scenario for that day: I read a statement somewhere on here that Alonzo and Lindsey had pulled into the lot at the mini mart, Lindsey went inside, and MJD got in the car with Alonzo. They left the lot for a few minutes then came back and Lindsey got back in with them before they left again. There were posts on here that it didn't make sense, but if you're familiar with that culture, it actually does.

This is my theory: Lindsey and MJD already knew each other from the street. Alonzo had noticed MJD and wanted to recruit her, so he had Lindsey ask her to get him some weed to give him an "in". IMO, they were all three in that lot to meet up. Alonzo pulled in, Lindsey went inside the mini mart, MJD got in the car and her and Alonzo left the lot w/o Lindsey, but came back in just a few minutes. I think she was giving him the smoke she picked up for him. MOST won't sit in a lot and do business. They get in one car, drive around for a few minutes and do business, then return to the lot to drop the other person back off. MJD sold him what she had gotten for him, then they came back to the lot to get Lindsey. He had his charm turned on because his motive was to recruit her, plus by leaving the lot and coming straight back with no hassle, he gained a certain amount of trust. When they pulled back in the lot, MJD just slid over so Lindsey could get back in, which put her in the middle. Then all three left. General practice when someone gets you a bag is to smoke with them, then give them a small amount for later. MJD thought they were going for a drive to smoke, so her alarm still hadn't gone off. They smoked, then he brought up the subject of her working for him. She refused, saying she was happy with her currrent "boyfriend". This was a problem because it infuriated him to be told no, plus one pimp doesn't try to recruit another pimps girls without running into some major trouble later on, should the other pimp hear of it. Alonzo probably wasn't quite so charming all the sudden to say the least. This may have been where the fat lip came from too, since I don't really see any more damage to her face, and it's the opposite side from most of the head trauma. A backhand to the mouth from the driver seat. MJD is suddenly aware that this was more than scoring a little weed, and her radar FINALLY went off. The panic would have told her she needed to get them to stop so she could run for it. She acted like she was sick to get him to pull over. He slowed the car and moved to the right lane, so she started migrating over to the passenger door so she could bolt when the car was slow enough, and was poising herself to jump and run. He knew she was going to bolt, so he pushed her and kept right on going. If no one had seen/told, they would have found her body and it would have been just another dead prostitute with an honorable mention on the evening news. This is my opinion of the days events. As for Lindsey not talking, seeing your pimp shove a girl out of car going 75 mph is a wonderful reminder not to cross him, and I'm not so sure I'd open my mouth, even ten years later. I may not be correct on it, but this is how it makes sense to me.

Blue with gray rocker panels, as opposed to the models which didn't have the rocker panel trim.

So the picture of the car is not the real car that they were in????

All quite logical and plausible. However, don't you think that somewhere along the line, he would have said, "Hey baby, what's your name?" Or, if LDJ knew MJD from the streets - she would have told him, "Hey Alonzo, I know a chick you might be able to talk into working for you." And, if she wasn't working for Alonzo, she was working for someone. WHO???

I have to rant for a moment...

I have searched many, many missing persons sites, used MJD's initials on her ring forwards, backwards and everything in between. Searched heights from 4'5" to 5'9. Weights from 70lbs to 180. Brown eyes, green eyes, blue eyes. Blonde hair, brown hair, red hair, dyed hair. White, biracial, Hispanic. Endangered missing, lost/injured/missing, runaway, abducted. Every possible age range that she could possibly be. Every single solitary state in the USA. UK, Canada, Mexico, Belarus, Russia, Puerto Rico. Everything to no avail except for the possibilities we have already listed and the girls on the ME site. If MJD isn't one of these girls, I strongly feel that nobody cared enough to report this poor girl missing. I would honestly believe she walked out of the god forsaken household in which she lived, where ever it may be, and never turned back because she felt that a life on the street selling her young body to perverts to survive was better than the life she had at home. This is someone's daughter, granddaughter, niece or sister and it disgusts me that nobody has brought any publicity to her case for fear that she may have ended up dead or in a bad situation, and unfortuntely she endured both. I have also searched many "people finder" websites for those looking for sisters, daughters and old best friends that met MJD's description only to find that many of those people had been REPORTED missing and it's unlikely that any of them are MJD. I am praying that all of this finally falls into place with the girls lined up to be compared with her DNA and she is finally able to be put at rest with her real name. I've read such heartbreaking stories about kids getting kicked out of their homes because they are gay or on drugs and are never reported missing. Or kids who have parents that just DON'T CARE. How sad would it be if someone is trying to contact MJD via facebook or myspace and has no idea that she went missing because nobody ever reported her, because it's unlikely that she ever had any kind of Internet profile. That's why this case needs to be widespread. She didn't have any drugs or alcohol in her system, her fingerprints never came back with any criminal history in her background. Heck, she wasn't even a recognized as a regular prostitute in Phoenix. What did she do that was so wrong that caused nobody to miss her? What harm could this child have possibly caused?

When searching for possibilities for MJD, I just wanted to remind everyone that she sustained a lot of roadrash that could have covered up any potentially identifying marks such as birthmarks, old scars, tattoos etc. So bear that in mind when searching. Don't rule anyone out!

Totally feel your pain Vashley! It is so frustrating and heartbreaking to think that there is not one person on the face of the earth looking for this girl! But we are! And I have to believe we will be able to put this puzzle together. I wouldn't be here everyday if I didn't think so. :blowkiss:

Yes, it is the car they were in. That was one of the police photos. The rocker panels are those wide gray trim panels running the length of the bottom half of the car. Some cars only had the thin moulding trim. Why am I so familiar with this car? No, my name's not Alonzo :) , I had one identical to it for almost 10 years.

The picture of the car IS the real car that they were in. If you look closely at the bottom half of the car, it's got grey rocker panels on it.

Yes. My own personal opinion is that Alonzo knew at least her street name, and probably who her pimp was. I think Lindsey may have known even a little more than that, like maybe what area she was from. Also, about the purse making it out of the car with her but not her shoes, prostitutes wear their purses like a sling to keep them from getting snatched. They don't casually dangle them from one shoulder like most women, and they don't set them down. If the purse was laying on the side of the road away from her body, I think the strap probably broke or it came off when she tumbled out of the car. I don't think it was thrown out separately. They do, however, take their shoes off when they get a chance. Walking in them makes their feet hurt. What I don't believe is that neither one of them knew anything.

If I haven't said welcome before, welcome!!! If I have just call me Dory...

I have a thought on where the purse may have gone. My sister was in a near fatal accident years ago. We had to go pick her purse up from the ambulance shed. It may be stored with whatever ambulance company that transported her to the hospital. Also, if the fire department responded too, they may have it. My sister was a crack junkie and lived on the streets most of the time because when my parents would let her come home, she'd steal from them to get drugs. What I found most bizarre is that when we retrieved her purse from the ambulance company, it still had crack in it. They had never even opened it up.

Wow-good for them.

While we are waiting for the reporter to release the story and all of the non profits to get back to us, what have we missed? What can we be doing? Did we ever figure out if her prints had been run nationally through APHIS or just locally?

Wasn't someone going to email the closest composites of MJD to that Extended Studios (from the envelope on the floor of the Caddy)? I'm not sure if this was done yet or not. I'm referring to the composites that Shaine said most resembled her in life (#1, #5, and #6 (he said 6 was the closest))....

Also, we were trying to get our mitts on pics of AF and/or KL and were still trying to determine the identity of KC/Kansas City Slim.

  • #399
FMW indicated that we might be released a copy of the state sponsored photos of KTL, I believe.

I am happy to send an email with the composites unless someone else has done it...

I was trying to find the name of the responding ambulance service to see if they would by chance have the missing purse or recall seeing who picked it up. It's a long shot, but it's possible. When my sister had her accident, I don't think LE was ever aware a purse existed. She was taken by ambulance to the main highway for air evac. The hospital gave us her clothes, shoes, and jewelry (all the stuff that was removed from her body I guess) but the purse ended up at the ambulance shed. Would someone be so kind as to send me the LE report? I'd love the opportunity to read through it.
