Mark Hawkins *Updated*

He's the military guy from California who's wife had an affair with Lee, got pregnant, and had an abortion that Lee ranted about. There was speculation CA was going to flee to California to be with him after Caylee died, but she didn't.

And now I'm even more confused at Baez's reaction in court. Why was he so mad about Mark H if Mark H got nothing in the wiretap? I thought for sure Mark H got something because Baez brought him up. From this report, though, it's the exact opposite! Then again, Baez does make mountains out of molehills...

Aedyrs, I think it was the - concept - Baez was so mad about - the idea that a friend of ICA's would agree to wear a wire and recored his conversation with ICA - why that smacks of an agent of the state status and good lord even entrapment - blah blah. And if Mark H. - a good friend - would wear a wire then of course everyone including her family were agents of the state - (they were everywhere, stalking ICA and trying to inhibit any opportunity of the Defense to raise a defense for this poor child - how dare they, etc. because no one likes me or thinks I am a good lawyer, etc, blah blah)

You get my drift with Baez and paranoia - yes?

I think Casey was going to tell Mark the sexual molestation/incest story. Mark and Lee had to of had some bad blood between them and I think Casey was trying to find the perfect guy would commit the ultimate crime FOR her. Casey had murder on her mind for quite some time... and I do not believe that all those searches on her computer were for Caylee only. I think Casey needed help in carrying out her ultimate plan and she was searching for the perfect guy to help her carry that plan out. She watched too many movies... women luring a man into being the knight in shining armor and rescuing Casey from a life of abuse at the hands of her father and brother... and Cindy for not believing her and allowing it to continue. Even blaming poor innocent Casey for the sexual abuse.

I would love to hear this recording. I'm sure that report doesn't cover everything said. What we do know is MH can not be Caylee's father so whatever Casey wanted to tell him in person wasn't that. She did not admit to knowing where Caylee was or a confession. However, I think from that report we have learned that she never mentioned a babysitter, claimed to be at Tony's with Caylee, deliberately kept Caylee away from her parents as a form of punishment when they pi$$ed her off. Casey often claimed Caylee was with her mother during the 31 days. The myspace to MH was interesting. Even though she didn't confess there is some pretty good info in there. Killing Caylee in a fit of rage is looking a little more believable as a motive if her and Cindy got into a fight.

Personally, after reading this "brief" rundown of how things went down, I'm more interested in knowing what Cindy had to say and tell during that covert drive to her home while Mark has hiding down low in the backseat.

There might be more there, than, with Casey, IMO.
Guess we'll eventually see, I hope.

What I want to know is how many people did CA smuggle into that house?---we know that she did the same thing with AD--who else?????? :maddening: I personally thing the a's were trying to obtain their own little "agents" .........

When KC told MH she had something to tell him and could only tell him in person maybe she was hoping he would offer to pay for her to come out there to California. New life, new beginning.

I highly doubt the FBI would have put a wire on MH if it would interfer with LE's investigation. I believe the difference is that KC probably asked to see him. Big difference here, I think. She was in her own home. Not exactly knowing what would come out of her mouth I'd want a wire too. jmo

I first met Casey when I was transferred into Colonial High School in Orlando Florida in January 2001. We had mutual friends and became friends ourselves. We have maintained in close contact through all four years of high school and since graduation. We got closer when I was deployed to Iraq and kept in contact via email. Following my deployment, I was on leave in Orlando and spent a great deal of time with Casey and Caylee. We went on a few dates during this time, but there was never any sexual nature to our relationship. Casey and I never dated seriously and we both agreed that we should remain strictly friends, as I am in the military and constantly being sent to different locations. Casey didn't want a transient life for herself or Caylee and felt she was established in the Orlando area.

Since the fall of '07 Casey and I have remained good friends and have kept in regular contact through email, myspace, and telephone. Sometimes during our phone conversations Casey would put Caylee on the phone so I could say, "hi" to her. Casey and I would keep up on each others lives and what we were each doing. Casey would sometimes keep me updated on Caylee and how she was doing i.e.; when she started talking, walking, etc.

In late June/early July 2008 Casey and I were talking regularly, as I was keeping her updated on medical issues of mine. She was worried about me and stated she wanted to come out to Cali to see me, although there were never any solid plans made. A week or so later Casey called me and was noticeably upset and frustrated. She said she had something to tell me and couldn't say it over the phone. She said, "something happened" a long time ago but wouldn't say what it was. Casey said she told her mother and brother whatever it was and they became angry and frustrated about it. I asked Casey what happened and tried to get her to tell me but she started to get upset with me, so I dropped it. When I kept asking her about whatever it was she wanted to tell me she just said, "Hey Mark its just something I want to tell you in person." I thought maybe there were some issues between her and her father or thought she was possibly upset about something else and she was just sort of dancing around it.

During this conversation, Casey said she had plans to go to Puerto Rico with some friends in August, but was thinking about canceling that trip and coming out to Cali. As I stated Casey and I were good friends and hadn't seen each other in a year, so she said she wanted to come out to Cali and see me. Casey never brought up again whatever it was that she was upset about. She said she had a couple of other friends in Cali and could also see them while she was out here. Casey did not specify who these friends were and did not mention any names.

I asked Casey if she was going to bring Caylee out to Cali with her. At this time, Casey was telling me her parents were going through a separation and were planning on getting divorced. Then, she also said they were getting back together again. Looking back now, I don't know if what she was telling me was truth. I know Casey would get into arguments with one or both of her parents and would alienate herself and Caylee by purposely not going to see them or bring Caylee to see them. During these times, Casey told me she would go and stay with her then boyfriend, Tony and she would bring Caylee with her. According to Casey they would stay anywhere from a day or two to a week at a time at Tony's house.I would usually call Casey during my lunch break or after training was done for the day. Casey would tell me stories about going out and partying with her friends and about what was going on at club Fusian. She told me she "helped out" there because her boyfriend, Tony worked there. During these conversations I would ask about Caylee and how she was doing. Sometimes she would say Caylee was at her mom's house or they were at Tony's and she was going to drop Caylee off with her mom, because she(Casey's mom)hadn't seen her in "a while." Casey never once mentioned any babysitters by name.

TY Chiquita for typing this out....

something happened a long time ago??? She told her mother and brother and they became very angry about it...is she referring to Caylee'a alleged abduction or did she tell her family what truly happened and this is the "accident that snowballed" out of GA?

ICA is lying about where she and Caylee slept, we know TonyL didn't want Caylee around the fraternity like setting at his home...

Then when MH stated, she used to get in arguments and purposely with hold Caylee from her parents....LA's statement to ICA, "is this like last time"? now seems to stem from what MH's said...oh boy...it appears the pieces of the puzzle are coming together nicely...for the State...JMHO

ICA should feel like the walls are tumbling down....around her...unfortunate for her no one can believe a word that comes out of her mouth.

Her statement about not telling anyone Caylee's missing for 31 days, they are looking at me....so will a jury, there is no way on this earth one juror would accept or understand why a mother would not report a child allegedly abducted....it shows guilt of her doing something nefarious to her child. No way to skirt that issue and it will be one of cirucmstances to convict her...She knows she's going down, how can she not???

Even telling TonyL, if they never find Caylee, guess who spends an eternity in jail? ICA does....she is up the creek without that paddle...all she can hope for is empathy at penalty phase...JMHO

Justice for Caylee

NO. The Defense is not claiming nor did they file a Motion claiming TL is an Agent of the State...

But TonyL was around LA, not ICA so, in essence he did work for the state but to see how much LA knew/involvement....he wasn't wired for ICA...that's the key point of TonyL...JMHO

LLL,

I do believe TL is considered Agent of the State...in his contact with Lee.

The question I answered asked if The DEFENSE was claiming TL was an Agent of the State?..and I answered NO to that question.
:)

I agree, TL could very well be considered agent of the State, however I cant see justhow Defense could make any motion to suppress whatever TL obtained, otherwise, this would set a precedent that LE could NOT investigate any crime using friends, relatives that have agreed to help find out info.. Am I looking at this the wrong way???

I wonder why NCIS would become involved with the investigation at all? Especially when FBI was already onboard. I wonder if this would be considered usual.

NCIS - Naval Criminal Investigative Services. IIRC, MH was/is an active duty naval soldier in the US armed forces. From what I've read it seems NCIS did a good job interacting with Florida LE while doing their best to protect their valued serviceman.

"I know Casey would get into arguments with one or both of her parents and would alienate herself and Caylee by purposely not going to see them or bring Caylee to see them." -MH

So as we all suspected, she used Caylee as a pawn. Her parents had experience with this so they tip toed around her stealing, lying and other antics. This was all to the detriment of poor Caylee.

IMO the NCIS involvement in the case just adds credibility to MH's statements. Granted, they are duty-bound to protect one of their own, but their involvement underscores MH's duty to the truth... If MH says KC used Caylee as a pawn, I tend to believe it more than I might a different witness. Hopefully the jury will view it the same way.

Which is exactly what most of us guessed. Notice the worst part about all of this is not knowing where her 2 year old daughter is but that LE is looking at her. Casey tells TL the same thing stating if they don't find Caylee she spends eternity in jail. More proof of why Cindy won't admit to an argument with Casey and the terrible guilt and responsibility she feels. If she had just...

I believe there is a lot of other evidence to support his statements as well. This revelation surprised no one here. Casey makes me sick.

I wonder why JB didn't press the issue of MH being an agent? Since it was FBI and NCIS coordinated, and not involving family, is that ok? Or did JB not want to open that can of worms..(skeerdy cat)..more like a can of whoopazz coming back at him? Maybe they have some info JB doesn't want to get into at this time.. It's weird how he just kinda let that slide without raising a stink about it..

I think the jury will see Casey for the devious, evil manipulator that she is. It goes to show why Casey wouldn't just let her mother have Caylee while she moved on with her new life. If there was ever a hope of the DT convincing the jury that it could have been an accident and some lame excuse for the duct tape imo that option is gone.
