I wonder why JB didn't press the issue of MH being an agent? Since it was FBI and NCIS coordinated, and not involving family, is that ok? Or did JB not want to open that can of worms..(skeerdy cat)..more like a can of whoopazz coming back at him? Maybe they have some info JB doesn't want to get into at this time.. It's weird how he just kinda let that slide without raising a stink about it..

That's a good question. Maybe because he was willing to do so. I don't think there's any reason why you can't be and with the Anthony's JB was trying to make it seem that they were tricked into doing so or without their consent. It's a consensual thing?

"I know Casey would get into arguments with one or both of her parents and would alienate herself and Caylee by purposely not going to see them or bring Caylee to see them." -MH

So as we all suspected, she used Caylee as a pawn. Her parents had experience with this so they tip toed around her stealing, lying and other antics. This was all to the detriment of poor Caylee.

That, in a nutshell is what this case is all about.
ICA despised CA and punished her every time she tried to do something about her stealing and lying by taking Caylee away. When CA had finally had all she could take ( the stealing from her father's N/Home account ) the top blew off and ICA got revenge the only way she knew....

This could also be what Lee was referring to when he asked Casey if this like "before", to which she told him no.

IMO because there was no incriminating type statements gained by MH against KC. However, they were trying to put CA and GA forth as "agents" in order to get their entire testimony, statements, etc. thrown out. Their own words and actions are the biggest nails in KC's coffin.

Just as KC has turned away her parents when they wanted to visit, KC at home could have turned down talking to anyone she chose. He had to have been invited to enter the home. KC also continued to have contact with him after she was arrested. I'd wear a wire, too, for my own protection. jmo

I also wonder if Baez was doing a "hands-off" with his accusations about Mark H. because his handlers were the FBI and NCIS not the LE or the OCSD.

Hard to be an "agent of the state" when you are an "agent of the FBI" isn't it?

And the reverse ! ICA didn't say as much or behave as badly with MH as she did with the A's. Those first phone calls and visits at jail were quite telling .

The fact that MH was willing to work with LE and wear a wire also tells us what he thought of ICA at the time.:rocker:

Yes, I agree. And clearly Mark H. did not feel the same antagonism towards the police and authority figures as the A.'s did.

IMO the NCIS involvement in the case just adds credibility to MH's statements. Granted, they are duty-bound to protect one of their own, but their involvement underscores MH's duty to the truth... If MH says KC used Caylee as a pawn, I tend to believe it more than I might a different witness. Hopefully the jury will view it the same way.

Not only that, but he was a GOOD friend of ICA's. He kept in touch with her and confided in her(medical problem etc.) He has, IMO, not one reason to embelish or lie. Out of all her "friends" he will IMO be one of the most believable. It shows a lot about his character that he agreed to be wired. He is going to be a good witness although he was miles away. He seemed to have consistant contact with ICA for YEARS, that says a lot.

Reminds me of when Shirley Pleasea said maybe Casey hated Cindy more than she loved Caylee. Beyond sad.

Bold mine.

True...but I was thinking about the tape of MH's visit w/KC at her home. Remember how light-hearted KC was when Tim M. was first at the Anthony home? He said she was flitting around like a "cheerleader"....all smiles and happiness. I would venture a guess that the tape that MH obtained, was equally incriminating as to KC's attitude. She was probably all over him, and chatting happily to him. That tape will go a long way with the jury to show that KC is nowhere near a "worried mom" with a missing daughter. I think because the FBI implemented the wiring, they simply haven't turned it over "physically" to OCSO yet, in order to avoid the Sunshine Laws...and why do you suppose that is?

Answer: Because there is something on that tape that the SA will use to their advantage in the trial, and you better believe that OCSO and the SA have already listened to said tape, just don't have it in their possession. *big grin* :)

It's all really coming together. Remember her telling Lee she was a spiteful biotch? The argument is starting to sound like Cindy confronted Casey about some things and told her to hit the road but she would not let her take Caylee. No job, no babysitting for her to party. It would explain why neither Cindy or George answered her calls on the 16th. She wanted a babysitter and Cindy was putting her foot down. The spite comes in where she decides that oh well fine then, duct tape and possibly sedate Caylee and use the trunk as her babysitter. Not Casey's fault, they should have babysat.

Now that Caylee is gone she refuses to let them visit her at the jail as a form of punishment. They can't get her out of jail therefore she has no use for them.

Very nicely stated as a very accurate summation.

MH was most likely one of the few decent guys KC knew from age 13 onward, rather than upward and downward. He must have sensed that KC was male bait.

Sorry about that, I can't reply to the post for some reason. IMO, I highly doubt that she would have said something to incriminate herself to MH, the key is Dominic.........MOO

I am sure the defense wants that tape supressed as ICA states that Caylee (Bless), was with her at Tony's in late June and into July, spending the night etc......

..if the State is going to use what's on that wire-tap tape, they have to give it over to the defense in discovery.

..as judgeP has stated also, "there will not be a trial by ambush".
