MARK NEJAME New Legal Analyst for WKMG

  • #41
And just so I am keeping track...

We have...

Mark Nejame - WKMG

Judge Eaton - WESH

Bill Schaeffer - WFTV

Marinade Dave - ORLANDO MAGAZINE

Add local defense attorney Bob Fisher to the list, he is working with In Session for this trial. From what I have seen so far, he is being objective and doing a good job.

Hello everyone, I'm a long time lurker and I have decided that todays news is just too exciting for me to stay in lurker land any longer. I'm so pleased that all of you here at WS want Justice for Caylee because personally, I can't move completely forward with my life until Casey is convicted and the rest of the Anthony clan is charged and convicted as well.

The HJBP made the right decision with his rulings today:great: I'm so thankful that he is sitting behind the bench.

What can I say, Mark Nejame, is a class act. This is simply wonderful news to hear that he will be the legal analyst for WKMG. The man has insight and intergity...When the Anthony's get wind of his little side job, they won't like it one bit. The Anthony's are fully aware that Mr. Nejame knows how they are and how they operate. It's getting deep...I hope Casey, the DT and the Anthony's know how to swim:woohoo:

Great first post and WELCOME TO WS! :great:

It's not that I don't love and admire him - I do! And he's observing the trial, not being involved in it.
I'm pretty sure he would not directly quote the "A's" - he's a pretty upstanding kind of a guy, but I guess he could voice his displeasure at something they said or did in his own way...

Nah, not able to talk myself into it yet...:waitasec:

Lol! I'm with ya! I just kinda, sorta hope and wish he could let LE in on something illegal IF the A's were actually involved in said illegal activity. I'm still holding onto the hope that the A's will see some charges come their way after KC gets hers.

On page 40 of the media link thread post 996 there is a video of Mark Nejame discussing the case. This video took place in Dec of 08 after Caylees body was found. Don"t know how to bring the link here but if any of you talented sleuthers know how please do. Think you will find his words interesting. Thanks

Was anyone else watching the coverage the day sweet little Caylee was found on line? Mark said something to the effect of a huge bomb that would drop at some point in the case which would shock everyone. I wish I could remember the station so I could hunt for it, he said it was unbelievable. He is going to have some great insight.

BBM -

I could be remembering incorrectly, but I thought it was Morgan that made this statement...I'll be the first to admit I could be wrong about that though.

I agree that Mark Nejame is a great lawyer & person, but I'm also kinda feeling conflicted about his being an analyst during the trial - especially since he represents the TES clients/witnesses. Does he have co-counsel assisting him with the TES witnesses, or is he handling them all on his own? CRS about that right now. :banghead: (too much work this month!)

Although I think Nejame is one of the good guys...it is disgusting how all these people are cashing in on the death of child. What is going on with "journalism" these days? Unconscionable.

I understand your feelings but I am not sure that is a fair thing to accuse these people of. They are legal analysts and this is a high profile trial. So I do not think it is fair to say they are 'cashing in on the death of a child.' IMO, they are doing their jobs--explaining and speculating upon the dynamics of the upcoming trial. JMO

The thing that really surprised me about Mark Nejames is he said he will be a regular on NG during the trial.

Thanks for your hard work. It is much appreciated. This is not the video but at the 7min mark it basically says what the other video says. Mark Nejames believes that KC was somehow involved in Caylees death. I really think he would of liked to say she was the cause but he was not allowed because of the relationship he had with the Anthonys.

He must have caught mis-remember-itis during his time in the A house! (Warning, turn your volume down!!!!!!!!)

i love it ! But he also has some privileged info and will have to be careful. Ca and ga would love an opportunity to blast him. Imo he saw them for who they are and wouldn't go along with the lie.

Jmo

thats what i was worried about---but he is a smart man

The way I see it, the pro defense people will have their share of people gobbling up the spotlight. Might as well have some good guys on Caylee's side sharing their point of view to even the playing field. It's better than nothing but pro-Casey legal analysts only. If they make a little money, so be it. At least Mark Nejame, Bill Shaeffer, and by the sound of it, Bob Fisher will be Caylee's voice among the analysts.

I don't actually find NeJames joining in the melee objectionable but I had originally painted him such a sterling character ~ it feels just a bit tarnished now. I would have preferred him to have held himself above all the opining that receives compensation. From his past actions and comments I do value his opinion but it probably won't hold the same weight for me now that I know he's being paid for what he says. I understand this won't be a very popular opinion and even I wish it weren't mine. :truce:

If Conway cashes in (further) as a correspondent I'm going to puke. There is NOTHING in any way engaging about him and he is average at best from everything I've seen.
Which is another reason why I don't watch any clips of talking heads or their shows.

If I need a legal explanation, I get the info here from our wonderful legal :great: experts. No need to go any where else. Or read/hear slanted opinions. RHornsby is the exception since he does take his time to engage with us on a personal level.

This is fantastic...I love Mark Nejame! When he came to Tim's (TES) rescue he stole my heart. He's a man of integrity, he's honest, and he's full of compassion. I will very much enjoy his case analysis.

I feel the same way! When Mark Nejame resigned as the Anthony's attorney, he was doing so because of principles. When he came to Tim Miller's defense and represented TES it was again a matter of standing on principle. He's done a good job in defending the personal information of the TES searchers, and safeguarding the records.

Mark Nejame is a man of excellent character! I look forward to his analysis of the trial proceedings.

I was online that day..........actually very shocked as I came here to WS to see if anything was happening and learned that remains believed to be Caylee's had been found. I was stunned as I had come to the conclusion that Caylee would never be found. I flipped on the small television in the office and watched the news as I read the threads here.

I don't remember any interviews with Mark Nejame, but I could have easily missed it with all the news reports. I'm very curious though about this..........what sort of information does he know that's huge and would shock everyone???
