this is my thoughts: Dr P was chosen from Mark to find T because he didn't like the close relationship those two shared. He also wanted the Dr to be implicated in the murder and LE did analyze Dr P and his car for evidence. Mark planned everything out. IMO

I agree with anyone saying "anticlimactic" so far. Seems like hints of this and that. This is not suppose to be a guessing game. JMO

I wish the State would have asked if VPN is code for something. I know CWW said it was "cover" but had they had a verbal conversation/agreement to have unnecessary text chit chat about VPNs or was it code for something?

My guess is that they already knew that it was not code for something. But, rather a loose conversation that was to make it seem like they were doing business. I felt like the defense was on a fishing mission waiting for the pros. to ask a question like that so they could go on the attack. I think pros. was smart in not asking too much and keeping away from it. MS probably has some data that refers to how he was in the VPN which would have called CWW's testimony into question. These are questions that the state and defense could already answer but state doesn't want it in evidence. IMO.

There was lots of VPN chatter that stopped right as CWW was leaving MO to go to FL. After all those texts, then nothing. The VPN was no longer an issue. That was a point for the pros. from my seat.

The defense is now calling Dr. Mark Petritis to the stand.

He is the one who found Teresa's body in the home.

If there was evidence that TS had had an affair with CWW then it would make sense that sexual relationships would come in. Crime of passion and not wanting MS have TS. But that is not the case.

So far the defense seems to be trying to prove that CWW had envy of MS: Living in MS condo, Angie's panties teasing, but not much more.

Court is back in session in the #SieversTrial. The defense has recalled Dr. Mark Petrites to the stand.

Petrites was a friend of Teresa Sievers and was the man who found her dead in June 2015.

Petrites had an office near Coconut Point in the Bonita Springs area and lived near the Sievers' home in Bonita Springs, he said.

From Petrites's home to Teresa Sievers' home it was about a three to four minute drive.

The night before Petrites found Teresa Sievers dead was when Mark Sievers left the first voicemail.

At the time, Petrites was traveling back from Indiana to Florida where his wife was going to attend law school.

From time to time, Petrites' wife had contact with Mark Sievers, Petrites said.

Now Petrites' wife is a state attorney and works on appeals in capital cases, Petrites said when asked by Mummert.

One time Petrites checked on Teresa Sievers when she was home alone before he found her dead.

"She was scared," Petrites said.

She called Petrites because she heard some noises in the house, Petrites said.
