Until Haleigh is found I will continue to look at everything and everyone. I really don't understand those that choose not to do that having a problem with others who choose to. Simply ignoring a thread or post that do not interest you seems likes such an easy solution. It takes so much more energy for you to belittle those or ridicule those that choose to keep an open mind and look at different scenarios than clicking right on by to another thread does.

For the record I also never stated he drank a box of beer. This man leaves beer cans at the scene of his crimes, I remembered beer cans or a beer box in the trash can so yes it jumped out at me.

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that you're dragging someone who police have NOT associated with a heinous, heinous crime into it---something that I, at least, have been led to believe violates TOS.

I suppose it's easy for LE to clear up, asking the occupants of the MH if they or anyone they entertained had left beer cans in the trash.

If he spent some time there at the MH drinking beer, did he make the couch bounce?

Wow. I've never heard of someone kidnapping a child in the middle of the night and following it up with a bank robbery a few hours later.

Rather implausible IMO.

Who had access to the child?

Who is reportedly not cooperating with the authorities?

Who has been referred to as "the key" to this investigation?

Who cannot provide a solid timeline?


That's where we need to be looking.

Nothing wrong with LE looking into it at all. Since we're discussing this fella, though, I have to wonder why it is that TN's past abusive (and documented in public records) relationship with her last boyfriend (as late as within weeks of HaLeigh's disappearance) cannot be discussed with like-minded alacrity. The question is fair to say "How is this guy tied to HaLeigh" and the answer has been that he's a perv who likes children and the MO was to sneak in and take the child out. However, the similarities end when the child doesn't disappear and the perp seems to get off with paraphernalia more than the child.

It is the vagaries of the choices of what is discussed here right now that has me confused. I think abuse in the family is much more relevant than a perv who was caught in Orlando.

I am sure that they are, HOWEVER, as seen with their (LE) comments about MC's cousin, they are being very careful not to improperly portray them as POI's without any evidence that they are in any way involved.

In another post, I clearly (and seriously) stated that I believe that LE should and DID check out the connection and if THEY found nothing to place this person in the area, then that should be enough. IF they did find a connection, then I sure they are pursuing it-- irregardless of any discussion here on WS!

I realize that. But after stating that he's a perv caught in Orlando with an MO that does not seem to match in any fashion what has been stated happened to HaLeigh, primarily that she has not been returned and he committed an act similar to his first one on a child AFTER HaLeigh disappeared, it is highly improbable that this man, as sick a twist as he is, is in any way related to HaLeigh's disappearance.

Perps don't change their MO only to revert to it. They want to get more comfortable, they don't want to make mistakes. He hasn't seemed to grasp that essential aspect.

Many times criminals MOs do change. They get more bold over time as they commit crimes and don't get caught. There is a lot of information about this topic online if you would like to do some reading.

You're sure helpful! Thanks. I've read prolifically regarding criminal behavior and it simply holds true that criminals tend to perfect their technique over time but once they got it, they rarely change what they do. In this instance, he failed with the first girl, we're to presume as a possible suspect that he succeeded with HaLeigh, and then failed again (meanwhile also looking like a suspect in a bank robbery). I am saying that is more than highly unlikely, it is improbable. And now, since I feel personally that this person is a perv but unrelated, I'll have to allow the walls to meet heads without me

I wonder if he sleuthed any of his known victims online. If he's just a random child molester from Orlando it sounds unlikely that he'd drive to a random small town and just get lucky with a random mobile home but if he'd hooked up with Misty online he could, in theory, have known a lot about the ways and the schedules of the household.
