Okay so, I am thinking that possibly, the 22 year old young man who talked to the NBC reporter was "playing" her - or - the info provided to the Washington Post was inaccurate since it is talking about a 38 year old man.

"The third stop was to put the other prisoner — a 38-year-old man accused of violating a protective order — into the van. The van was then driven six blocks to the Western District station. Gray was taken from there to a hospital, where he died April 19.

The prisoner, who is in jail, could not be reached for comment. No one answered the phone at his house, and an attorney was not listed in court records."
- Washington Post

Thank for reading further! IMO, I am thinking the guy who came forward might be an imposter but I can't be sure...

A little banging. Four seconds. That could have been the police issuing Freddy's final beatdown.

IMO, Freddy was beaten to inevitable death and was THEN placed in leg shackles to make his beating death appear to be warranted.

If he was beaten to death prior to the leg shackles, I think someone might have saw. He was taken out of the van a block later and put in shackles and he didn't look dead in the video.

I am curious why the 2nd prisoner decided to come forward now and not earlier...was he threatened to stay quiet or did he really say it but doesn't want to look like he told the police anything?

I suspect he came forward in order to refute what was alleged to be his statement to police. Even though his name was not released yesterday his identity was probably known to the local community and if I was him I would be in fear for my life.

I was wrong anyway. I read further and the article explains the search warrant. It sounds like it is part of the investigation into this. Because it is wanting to recover LE clothes. Interesting.
Try this link below as I linked it again and redid the original too so that should work also.

"The affidavit is part of a search warrant seeking the seizure of the uniform worn by one of the officers involved in Gray’s arrest or transport. It does not say how many officers were in the van, whether any reported that they heard banging or whether they would have been able to help Gray if he was seeking to injure himself. Police have mentioned only two prisoners in the van."

"The search warrant application says that detectives at the time did not know where the officer’s uniform was located and that they wanted his department-issued long-sleeve shirts, pants and black boots or shoes. The document says investigators think that Gray’s DNA might be found on the officer’s clothes."

Just like in the Christina Morris case, if the victim's DNA is found on your person or IN YOUR TRUNK, you are without a doubt a murderer.

I was never of that mindset until reading the Christina threads. But I now know that if DNA is found, you are guilty for sure!

Full interview with second man in van on MSNBC now, Chris Hayes Show

When got to Police Station, he heard the police say,

Well, we gave him a run for his money

I feel it's better to wait for the investigation results to be announced than to jump to assumptions.

Let cool heads & sharp minds prevail!

I meant he was beaten to the point of inevitable death. He may have been technically alive but was already dying.

And honestly, that video of him even being dragged to the wagon? He looked pretty damned hurt even then.

Look, I am just trying to piece together a narrative based on what we know and leg shackles on a man with the appearance of Freddy prior to wagon time seems like window dressing.

Plus, why not come clean about the second (Of three) stop? Why not admit it right away unless there was a nefarious reason?

I missed it will have to catch it later. But in the meantime, was the guy about 22 or about 38?

I take things quite literal sometimes. Don't mind me :blushing:

I think that mystery stop is important. They have a video showing the stop so hopefully it shows what happened during the stop.

Good luck with that.

Especially since WS is all about assuming and speculating until we get the facts. It is not a court of law, it is why most of us are here. Hashing, discussing, speculating.

Lol I was looking and I'm usually pretty good re age. However (I found his age difficult to estimate), he did not look like either 22 nor 38 to me. Looked in range of mid to late 20s, possibly early, but very early 30s to me, tops.

Unlike some other high profile police shooting/death cases, I believe this one has merit. As does the "hobby cop" in OK, and the Walter Scott shooting in SC.

Anderson Cooper just interviewed the FG family attorney - Billy Murphy - and he asked him about the status of the autopsy commissioned by the family. Murphy just laughed and said "were not going to talk about that". Cooper being he lousy "journalist" that he is didn't press Murphy. I would have pressed Murphy as to why the family is not releasing details from their autopsy.

Anderson Cooper is not a lousy journalist.
