I guess I could call myself a lurker. I have been searching endlessly to find anything that could help find Phylicia. This case has comsumed me. Each day I wake up hoping this is the day that Phylicia has been found. However, each day passes and nothing as yet. I grew up and lived in Baltimore for over 30 years. It has it's problems as all big cities do but is full of many good people as well. On Dec 28, 2010 I do not believe that Phylicia ever walked to the Reisterstown Rd Shopping Center. If so, someone would have seen her walking down the street. That leads me to believe that she was taken from the apartment and put into a car in the parking lot. LE did not find any evidence of foul play in the apartment and so this leads me to believe that Phylicia was enticed away from the apartment by MJ and his cohorts. I can tell you that this is not a stranger abduction. IMO! I do not believe it was an accident. I think that MJ knew what he was going to do before he left the apartment and that he had help from one of his family members. MJ wanted to get back at DB. I also do not believe that DB or KB knows what happened to Phylicia. But they do know who took her from the apartment, after the fact. The MJ family knows what happened. They also have access to many cars that perhaps that LE never got to process as a crime scene. I have closely examined all the info on the Internet on that family. I continue to look daily. I think that it is strange that not on person in the famliy mentions Phylicia being missing. They have swept it under the rug in hopes that Phylicia's story will go away. I, as many other people, will never let that happen. I pray that some evidence will come forward so that Phylicia's family will know and that the perps will go to prison for a long time!!! I look, listen, and pray for Phylicia's and her family every single day! I will never stop!

I wanted to add that there is one family member, a cousin of MJ's, who continues to post twitter updates of PB's missing info.
And some of the grandmas and aunties and moms are followers of PB's prayer page.
Other than that, you are right. Not a peep.

I concur with it all. I also bellieve that LE knows and believes all this to be true.
LE has much more info than we, so I know if we see and think this, they most certainly see and think this, they just can't seem to get enough to arrest any of the POI's.

MJ had a plan when he arrived there at the apt. that day. I wonder when did he find out that PB was still there and did not go to work with DB. I bet Lil' B or LBC told him earlier that morning and he began to put a plan in motion?????

Why was MJ doing laundry on the day that he was to be moving out. He had all month to move his things out so they should have been packed and ready to go. Why was MJ there at all that day without DB presents. This alone sends RED FLAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope that LE can get some type of evidence from one of the POI's. Part of the reason that LE cannot find evidence is because the crime was not commited in the apartment. I believe that the car used to take Phylicia away was never found by LE because MJ and cohorts had many vehicles that were possibly used and not MJ's car.
They have many friends with cars, Big G could have used a company vehicle, MJ's new womans car or another relative's car. That lists of vehicles could be endless!
As for MJ's reasons for wanting Phylicia out of the picture was because he was losing
grip on the life he had lived for 10 years with DB, that made him angry! In other words, he wanted his cake and to eat it too. He perhaps knew that he was not the center of attention in DB's life anymore and that also made him angry. I bet that Phylicia was the center of attention while visiting her sisters and he was jealous. He somehow found out the Phylicia was home alone that morning and he went there with
intentions. He may have hit on Phylicia and she refused him, that would have angered him. And then MJ found the pictures of he and his new girlfriend on the computer that Phylicia was using. That and the arguing that DB and MJ were having on the phone that day really made him snap. With all these things going on in his head, he took Phylicia. MJ knew that he had to get Phylicia out of there before KB was suppose to pick Phylicia up. His story about Phylicia going to get sleep after she just woke up is lame, his story about her going to get something to eat is lame, and the door being open and loud music was a set-up by MJ. I also believe that someone helped MJ and that they are covering for him.
I think that there are many RED FLAGS and I will list some of them.
MJ knew that Phylicia was home alone.
Phylicia would have NOT gone out in Baltimore alone.
Phylicia would have taken her cell phone, bank card and would have worn shoes, not
slipper boots.
Phylicia would have told DB and/or KB that she was going out of the apartment
Phylicia would have not gone back to sleep because she had just gotten up from being asleep all night.
And a BIG red FLAG................
Phylicia's, MJ,s and Lil G's phones were not working in the time frame that Phylicia went missing on the 28th of January.
MJ did not go to work on the night of the 28th of January.
DB's dog was still in the house after it was said that the door was left open.

I should have clarified in my above post that the relatives closer to the age of Phylicia and MJ's younger friends and relatives have NOT mentioned that Phylicia is missing or that she remains missing. I find that VERY odd behavior!!!!!

I continue to look, listen and pray for answers so that Phylicia can be found and brought back to her family!

It was the second interview that DB, KB and BB on Peasintheirpods.
MJ did not go to work and that she could not get in contact with MJ till around 1am and he was not at work. (also hinky IMO)

If I was moving, and needed to be out by the end of the month....
And it is the 28th, with three days left of the month...
And I am in the final stages of moving...
I can see where I might do laundry before moving, so everything I was moving was clean.
Especially if the place I was moving in to didn't have a laundry (I have no idea, but maybe it did, maybe it didn't).
Especially if it's been a busy month, with all the holidays.
Especially if I didn't really give a hoot about PB.

Can someone explain to me why a 27 year old would be at all interested in a 16 year old? When he has a girlfriend (or two) already?

Can someone explain to me why a 27 year old would be at all interested in a 16 year old? When he has a girlfriend (or two) already?

She's a beautiful, very mature looking girl. She is completely different from his own girlfriends and she is 'fresh meat' in his world. A 27 year old would be interested for the same reasons a 17, 18, or 19 year old would be interested.........the question is should and did he act on his feelings?

In reviewing the 3rd Peas interview, I realized KB said that she lived 10 minutes away from DB's apartment at the time.
I remember we'd been wondering about that. We knew how long it took approximately to get from D.C. to the apartment, but not how convenient KB's place was to DB's...


The only reference to MJ regarding the evening/night of the 28th is that DB heard back from him at 6:11.
There is no reference to MJ not working that night.

Any other ideas for sources? I think this is important, knowing if he was working or not. It's also important that DB heard back from him at 6:11. Then he got back to the house after 1 am.

What I have is four Peas Interviews regarding PB.
First was with BB and RB (brother and dad)
Second was with JS (mom).
Third was with BB, DB, and KB.
Fourth was with PB's classmates back in NC.

We MUST keep pushing forward. We MUST seek out new information, and keep looking at the old information more closely and through different eyes.

I just saw posted on the prayer FB page that DB is getting death threats.

Does anyone know how we can get information to the detectives working this case? In the off chance that they have not thought about things we have come up with? I realize that is a very slim chance, because they are the detectives, and do this for a living. But maybe, just maybe we have tracked something down that would be helpful? Or does anyone know if any detectives have been reading this thread all along?

Here in holland the police would be very happy with all the information. In fact, they said that the detectives always look the same way to each and every case and that the people who haven't studied for it, look at it wide open and at every angle, which almost always provide new leads and points of interest to the case. So yes, I think it would help LE very much, we just need to find a way to get information to them! (if they haven't read it here)

I believe they said they haven't found any "evidence" that would support foul play. They are not sure that it couldn't have been foul play... Just something I noticed and wanted to add to your comment with all respect!

Augh. This is not going to end until someone who knows something speaks up. And someone will speak up. It's a matter of time, and pressure. Like making sedimentary rock.

Look at the people involved in Haleigh Cumming's disappearance; they were mostly drug-addicts and even when going thru withdrawal and/or facing 25 years in prison for drug charges, never said a word about where Haleigh is. And as far as we know, LE does not have a way to arrest anyone for other charges in this case to apply pressure. I am getting very discouraged.

I have extreme bouts of discouragement, myself. Too many cases go cold.
What I come back to is family. I think the strength of pressure is going to come from the extensive network of extended family PB has in B'more, and how connected that network is to their churches. They are not going to give up, and they are not going to be quiet. I look at PB's prayer page, and how it has remained true to what it was intended--positive thoughts and support for PB's return. It has not devolved into ick, like so many pages do. The matriarchs and patriarchs of the Barnes' extended family are strong people. IMO, whoever brought harm to PB definitely messed with the wrong people. And they've over 20,000 people backing them up across the U.S. and beyond. That's what helps me when I'm discouraged.

I have gone back through all of my links. I can not find anywhere that anyone says MJ did not go to work on the 28th.
His return to the house after 1 am fits with his work schedule.
His being out of touch while at work also fits, depending on what his work is. When he was posting to the Find PB facebook page (now deleted), he had chunks of time between posts, and he mentioned that he did have work to do.

So, I would like to recommend that we consider whether MJ went to work the night of the 28th to still be an unanswered question, until we find something to back it up.

I have read so many blogs and other reports on this case, that I can't remember all the sources. However everything that I read about LE and foul play (in my understanding of foul play) leads me to believe that they LE don't believe nor have any evidence that foul play occured in the apt. Not to say that foul play did not happen at all.

PB left the apt. with a coat on and other items such as her purse and phone. The big dog was there, and remained there. Given this much information makes me believe that there was no foul play in the apt. even though LE has not ruled it out completely.

When a crime as such happens there are some type of forensics, DNA, at the scene of the crime, somewhere. Even if MJ has cleaned up the apt. he still would not have been able to clean up all of the DNA etc. Also they would have been able to tell if the dog had been under any distress of any kind, due to any foul play that would have occured.

As far as MJ not going to work that night, I still can't remember where I heard it from. But my memory keeps going back to that Peas interview with DB. I have not listened to it anymore. Maybe I need to listen to it again and find the exact spot, but I have been very busy so I don't have a lot of time to research this case the way I did when it first happen.

GJ when MJ was on FB saying that he had work to do, was it the night of the 28th? Also he could have had long periods where he was taken care of the situation and saying that the work to do was really dealing with the PB situation???? MJ finally being reachable around 1:15am doesn't mean that he was at work. If he wanted DB and others to think that he was at work would he not have followed the same routine as if he was at work?

Check out some of RB interviews as well, and JS's but I still thought that it came from DB saying that MJ didn't go to work that night.
